My friend earned a music scholarship for drums. We played in a metal cover band in high school. We would listen to this drum fill on repeat together. He lost his life to alcoholism and suicide. Never thought ruin by lamb of god would make me tear up but here we are 😂

Love this song and love this album ! Chris is one of my favorite drummers. I must say...he seemed to struggle with this one on that particular night. Some tempo issues and also seemed fatigued. I get it. I play too! I am happy to see that a man such as mr adler here also has issues once and again. It gives me hope. We as musicians seem to be very hard on ourselves when it comes to our skills. That said, loved the video. Chris is amazing. Im not half the drummer he is. I have more okay notes than perfect ones. Keep rockin and always know, you cannot be perfect all the time.

The live sound of his drums always sound weak, except for his snare which he probably tightens with a tire iron. Companies who video record him can never get a decent sound. The drum tech almost started a mosh pit when he was sound checking. It was that impacting
