Doug hit the nail on the head. The defense is getting tired out with 3 and out quarter after quarter. When Michigan has a balanced offense and great OL, it sustains drives and then scores. This keeps the defense fresh during the game. I have noticed in the games I have attended this year that (1) the imbalance in time of possession starts creeping up in favor of opponents and then (2) the defense understandably gets tired in the 4th quarter.

If you're a program like UM and your best QB option is a 25 yr old man who has never been any good, you're lost. They hired a DC who had nowhere else to go and is just collecting a check. Also, what's gonna be left when the remaining NFL guys leave after this season? The talent left on that roster looks extremely marginal at best.
@philliplamay5923Ай бұрын
I am hopeful with Tuttle in there. That’s his first time playing in a WHILE! Bit of rust. But he looked crisp on his passing and scrambling. That pic was a solid play. The ball should have been a bit higher and outside. Also Amarion Walker looked good on that dig. Devin Gardner pointed it out as well. He needs 4 shots a game. My big complaint is the coaching.. it’s horrible. On both sides. Wink has the backs giving huge cushions, and their zone coverage as a whole looks very troubling.. again. D line is good, o line is improving. But coaching just lacks.
@Jleed989Ай бұрын
The coaches knew all of this in spring ball and did nothing to correct it. Davis Warren threw one good pass in the spring game and suddenly he’s Johnny Unitas
@hundenstihlАй бұрын
The coaches kinda blow. Team gets worse in every game as the game progresses. Turnovers are a constant. Leaky pass D, players out of position, missing virtually every tackle in the pass game. Sherrone can’t even help correct the O line, which is a bad sign. Future seems dark.

Skene, watch the film again! At least 5 different M players slipped on that turf. That means the turf was significantly different than M's turf. A cleat change was necessary! Donavon could have taken the 2nd run to the house had he not lost traction. Agree with your other points in this tape. Do not agree with your conclusion about the turf.

I don’t pretend to be an expert . But I just cannot stand the play calling. I could go on and on . But it’s too easy . I’m all for being patient with players and coaches. A lot of these guys were on the teams that made our dreams come to fruition the last few years . Even if they were just backups and practice squad guys ..they were a part of it. But the coaching and play calling has to step it up . Except for wink . Wink has to go , imo. He’s worse than don brown. He’s in the same tier as Greg Robinson in my book😂 and I think he’s a little too old to expect major growth form him. Good career , my man. I wish you well ….but, well…I wish you well, elsewhere

This year’s record will be 5-7! Loss to MSU! Loss to OSU! Loss to Oregon! Maybe a win versus Northwestern? 🤔 Let us limit the passing game to ten (10) throws to Coleston Loveland! Run Kalel twenty-five (25) times, and Donovan fifteen (15) including screen passes! No turnovers like Orji did with USC! Have packages for all three QBs including a pass or two for Orji, runs for Tuttle and Davis Warren! We could beat MSU and Northwestern this way! Kirk Campbell will only take these successes and start passing the ball more, however! 🤔

"Why do African American coaches often struggle to lead elite college football teams? Cultural empathy can sometimes lead to overlooking the little details of discipline that make all the difference. Coaches like Mike Tomlin and Deion Sanders are charismatic leaders, but their teams haven’t consistently demonstrated the strict discipline seen in elite programs. Jim Harbaugh’s recent advice to Michigan coach Sherrone Moore highlights the importance of honesty and tough love in coaching-key elements in not overlooking those small but critical aspects of discipline. Is this a cultural nuance affecting African American coaches' styles, or something deeper?
@dschuetz1126 күн бұрын
