My favorite movie of all time also. The music brings me back to the night in a Miami theater where my soon to be wife and I watched it. Until that point and never again did I see people stay for credits of a movie and then slowly get up. My wife now rests in the arms of God but is still with me in my heart. Ah, the times, they are a movin.

Sorry for your loss, I watched this movie also in Miami when it came out . I was staying in Miami when I found out that my brother had played a small part in the movie . I was so proud that I could see him on a screen so many miles away from our home. Bottí`s trumpet has a soul, thank you Maestro. Morriconi as all great composers moves a whole mountain of passion in my heart.

Chris Botti in spite of his young age, is a true virtuoso trumpet player. What I mean, that what we usually get from countless trumpet solos are brash, loud execution. It's much more rare, when the player is able to distinguish himself with tight control, restrain, subtlety and rich texture. The piano player followed the example in front of him, to strive for those praiseworthy qualities also.

Brian is so right in his comments about this wonderful, magical film, which celebrates the art of movie-making, and also love between generations and lovers alike. The most poignant aspect of the film for me was the tragic communication mixup which meant that two ideal lovers missed out on so many wonderful experiences together. Brian plays with a fine respect for the melody, and nice restraint. Bravo.
