I lived in the Chicago area during the Bulls 6 championships & was fortunate to see this special team play live. At the time I worked in sales, so often took my (mostly Japanese) customers to games, always with excellent seats. I saw the first preseason game that Dennis Rodman played with the Bulls. (3 rows up, right behind the Bulls' bench; we were so close I could see the beads of sweat forming on Jordan's head.) Two memorable things about that game: during the first commercial break Phil Jackson huddled the team together -except for Rodman, who was in the middle of the court watching the M&M race on the scoreboard, lol. The other memory was watching Luke Longley get in a fight with Chris Webber. Both got ejected, and we had ringside seats to watch the spectacle! As Webber walked off the court, the fans taunted him with the "timeout" sign. (Basketball fans know why that is funny.) Watching Jordan and Pippen up close drove home to me just how great these athletes were. We all know about Jordan, but Pippen was a defensive stud, Kukoc a ball-handling magician, and Rodman a rebounding machine. I'll never forget watching this special team play; I feel extremely blessed that I was in the right place & right time to enjoy their run. I'm in Japan now, but can't wait to watch "The Last Dance."

It's easy to blame the owner but like it or not he built a great team around MJ. Kruase seem to be a bad guy but I can't take away his contribution to the team. After saying that Krause terrible personality destroyed the team and he seemed to be a bad guy way before the championships in the 80s.

Jerry Krause had too much power. Moving players I understand but if the team is winning championships, even if the GM suggest something interesting the owner still has the last say. I think the owner is a hands off owner and relied too much on his GM. It's all about business for him and really doesnt want to spend money and take care of the players. Took advantage of the 2nd best player of that team, and the coach.

Jerry Reinsdorf should also take blame for breaking them up. It was his team, his final say so. He knew what was going on with the team. Given the choice, I would told Krause to check his ego at the door or had shown him the door. The players put the fans in the seats, make the team profitable and relevant and in Jordan's case, saved the franchise.

Whoever says that basketball is a game of athleticism, does not know what they are talking about. These are the same people who will say Larry Bird cannot play today. Well first of all there were a lot of athletic guys in the 80s and 90s. Second of all this is not the Olympics where we see who can run faster or jump higher, this is a skills based game, what makes the elite players great are their skill level and their level headed composure. And if Luka Doncic can dominate today, Larry Bird without the pulling and the hard fouls would DOMINATE in this era.

It takes time for people to get going. Not everyone is going to be like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Grant Hill or LeBron James who will get it going from their rookie season, players like Kobe and Tracy McGrady took a bit of time to adjust because they never played in the college system to learn the Xs and Os of a real system.

I canceled DirecTV a few months ago until morning today I signed up KZbin TV for $50 a month just to watch this documentary! Watching the first 2 episodes justifies my decision. What a fine piece! I wish the series are in iMAX theatres. Gotta have the soundtrack later too. Good night!

I cancelled Comcast before the quarantine. Today I woke up thinking, the doc would air on ABC as well as ESPN and 20 minutes before the doc aired I signed up for KZbintv too. Best 50 bucks spent, even if I only watch KZbin TV for this doc!

@Brandon Martin Did do some research earlier last week. You are dead on that ESPN+ is way cheaper, but it does not show the documentary at all! I also looked into Netflix and it does show it but only on Mondays so it does not premiere it. In the end, I thought I just have to do one month of KZbin TV. Actually, wife is happy and kids are happy too. There are quite a lot of channels there. I am afraid I have to keep it even after episode 10. But KZbin TV allows up to 6 accounts to share, so I guess I will look for people to chip in.

@@Mrken2786 What a coincidence! Honestly, 10 seconds into episode 1, I wished I was watching it IMAX in a theater. If they put 5 movies, each 2 hours, I'd have no problem spend $10 each for all of them.

Bro with all due respect, please stop saying Lebron James is the greatest player next to MJ because it's not true at all. Fan boys love to just throw that comparison around like it's believable smh❗ Chris is secretly a fan boy of LBJ but acts if he think MJ is on Lebron's level, as if Lebron is the standard instead of Mike, stop it❗ Michael was the best and most undisputed dominant player in all of his era, LBJ can never ever say that on his resume. I literally hate when people try to make an argument about LBJ being close to MJ because anyone who seen MJ and LBJ in both their primes and career can clearly see MJ was light years head and shoulders over anyone whoever played especially Lebron. Chris lowkey act like he rock with MJ but peep how he jock LBJ hard talking about he's the second greatest, straight asinine 🤣

@Brandon Martin Nah bruh Chris really doesn't believe the obvious lol. I have heard him over recent years on plenty of sport shows praise LBJ over MJ invertedly and anyone who pays attention to all his talking points not just on this video but overall understands he's just playing to the present popular answer not what he really believes. If I'm not mistaken he's from Ohio too so it makes sense for him to have his hometown bias but don't front like you believe MJ is better than LBJ when you really don't lol! I got nothing but love for my man Chris, however whenever he's going too far left a balanced perspective has to be put out there. That's the purpose of my initial rant since you asked bro lol.

Broussard. Please stop to push that narrative that Lebron is anywhere close to MJ and second all time. Nope. Bron is nowhere close. No off the ball game, no go to move, no mental aspect, can't close, no consistent jump shot, no footwork, no post up game, no back to the basket game. He is not better than Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, Magic, Kareem to name a few. Debatable between him and Bird, KD, Steph. Bron skillset nowhere near MJs... I mean nowhere. Slower, worse latteral quickness, not as high leap. I could go on... MJ is better at rebounding (check the offensive rebounds and then think about position and how close Bron plays to the basket and having no big men on his team to contend for rebounds), MJ is a better passer too, mainly because Bron has ball in his hands all the time and he is top 2 in turnovers all time !!! Did u forget that? So Idont want to hear that bs that he is a great passer. So, he is worse than MJ in every measureable and immeasureable stats like scoring, defense, speed, stamina, mental toughness.... Man not close. stop the comparisons. Oh wait..... Forgot the most important. Jordan won. Won way more and against tougher competition and harder to score league!!! Not even a comparison, please stop it.

But you have to remember owner of said team is sticking their nose, hands and feet into the business.. case in point this Bulls organization in the 90s and their breakup.
