That was an older version of Reggie Miller but still crafty with Jermaine O'neal and veterans but not the same team from the 90s. This is what separates Jordan from Lebron. Sooooo underrated. He led MJ in 3 or more of the 5 main categories (points/rebounds/assists/steals/blocks) in FOUR of their 6 Finals. In JUST the 6 seasons the Bulls won JUST Pip made 5 All NBA Teams & SIX All Defensive Teams (with Horace & Rodman both also making an All Defensive Team). While in Lebrons ENTIRE NINTEEN YEAR CAREER he's had teammates make 5 All NBA Teams (Wade in '11/'12/'13, Kyrie in '15, & AD in '20) & literally JUST TWO All Defensive Teams (Varejao in '09 & AD in '20). He was a top 3-8 player in the league most of those seasons they won. Like Lebrons had to do (except he's had to ALSO do the scoring & defense) Pip did everything for the Bulls. He handled the rebounds, playmaking, took the other teams best player on d, etc so Mj could focus on scoring & important key spurts of elite defense. Nowadays people are hugging and everything and they are team is losing the game. Scottie Pippen and Karl Malone were great friends but during Game 1 of the 1997 finals, it was Scottie who told Malone that the Mailman do not deliver on Sunday.

I guess it depends on what is “instant”, when you’re talking about all time greats in your scenario. Jordan, Duncan, Wilt, etc were 23 but had just come in the league, like “instantly” making and impact. But when you say Lebron beat them to it at 22, he had been in the league for a few years. What’s the cut off for “instantly”?

Lol first off its sad u wanna try to unfairly compare Lebrom at 19 to MJ at 21but its even sadder u need this explained...... he said once they got into the PLAYOFFS they INSTANTLY showed they were elite & didn't start off normal & slowly got better 🤦🏼♂️ -Lebron came into the league at 19 (& was MUCH better as a 19 year old in the league than Kobe was lol). He was 21 & avgd 36/8/6 on 51% shooting 😳 his 1st playoff series. -MJ came in at 21. He was 21 & avgd 29/6/9 on 43% shooting his 1st playoff series. -Duncan at 21. He was 22 & avgd 20/10/3 his 1st playoff series. -Kobe at 18. He was 19 & avgd 8/1/1 his 1st playoff series. Notice Kobe....nless ur Lebron or Luka most guys struggle as TEENAGERS in the NBA lol. Him & Lebron had the 2 hardest ramp ups of the other top 10 pf all time players......going from high school schedules & competition to NBA. Meanwhile MJ got to learn from 1 of the best coaches of all time for years at college (plus olympic coaching from Bob Knight... ANOTHER top coach of ALL TIME....oh wait then he gets a top 3 NBA coach of ALL TIME haha ). Looks like just ANOTHER advantage MJ had to help him. Lebron actally showed elite playoff moments YOUNGER than MJ did lol. Lebrons bday is December while MJs is Feb. As i said though what Nick was saying is in the PLAYOFFS they INSTANTLY were elite no matter how young they were (except for Kobe obviously). -At 21 years old in Lebrons 1st playoff game he put up a 30 pt triple double lol -Then when his FIRST playoff series was tied 2-2 he put up a 45/8/7 in game 5 & then 32/7/7 including 5 of the teams 7 points in overtime in the close out game 6....again all at age 21 & yoinger than MJ was in his 1st playoff series -Then the next series avgd 27/9/6 vs 1 of the greatest defenses EVER & pushed that Pistons team that made 6 straight ECFs to 7 games with his best teammate in the series avging 11 points & Larry Hughes going down in game 2 lol. But again he avgd 36/8/6 his FIRST playoff series at age 21 (which was better than MJs 29/6/9 PLUS was sloghtly younger then MJ). He IMMEDIATELY showed it 🤦🏼♂️

Another thing is that no one mentions mj contract was 24 million for 8 yrs and pippen was 19 for 8years but Pippen came in the league later... so it was somewhat the same, 33 million per year was just for a couple of years and MJ honored his contract and everythime he played he played to win, he never delayed a foot cirgury to force the GM hands after siging a bad contract knowing the rules that were the same for everybody from MJ to the Janitor thats business (because he felt unappreciated)

So yea it’d be useless like any other debate. Even when history tells us LBJ has never been clutch like MJ in the finals, has had way more help than him as well, has never taken a team to the finals & won from the ground up etc even when you add that & combine rings/stats/playoff-finals stats/clutchness at the highest level/skills/accomplishments etc LBJ ain’t touching MJ. Thing is LBJ fans have a lot of hypotheticals towards MJ, no actual arguments, they also contradict themselves more than anyone. So yea it is funny.

So Nick, why not say year 2 for Jordan and Kareem and year 4 for Lebron? I mean if you wanna say Lebron deserves an mvp in year 17, instead of age 35 - where Michael won an mvp at age 35 and Lebron won’t. The fact that he switches the lingo he uses to just make Lebron appear the slightest bit better when in reality it is disingenuous, shows how biased he really is.

When MJ came back in 95' and fully started in 96', we already predicted that the Bulls will play in the finals and they did 3x for 97' and 98'. Based on 3 predictions, we could fairly say that if the team was intact, they would have won 99', 00, 01' no doubt about it. MJ is still at his prime and so are Scottie, Tony, Steve, Dennis, and Ron. What more if you include the draft and free agency? We respect sports commentators, but it is baloney when you say San Antonio would be tough for the Bulls. MJ and the Bulls would have denied David Robinson a ring if they were still around -- no doubt about it. Our prediction has a basis (3x), but yours are just purely weak conjectures (because there is no basis). It's like that 1% of what ifs for the sake of argument. No! nip it, Nick and Chris!
