Obviously your playing is incredible (I can tell it’s you even when you are playing a completely clean sound) but what I also love is your incredibly dry sense of humour! The “talent enhancement centre” is the greatest name for most guitarists pedalboards! 😂

Chris your playing has always been amazing but it’s become so dynamic. Every note. Wow
@StealthParrot2 жыл бұрын
I am amazed how quickly Chris switches between finger picking and using a pick, so effortless and really increases his dynamics and tone.

The new guitar hero 👏 A place well deserved. I would say that Mr Buck's phrasing is: Beck meets Trucks. So, obviously in good company. And truly awesome 👌

Jesus Christ the tone when he was combining the Echorec and Trellicopter. The man's a savant
@johnmalcolm48222 жыл бұрын
Check out a similar and very interesting use of a parallel long delay after a swell pedal on David Gilmour's live version of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. He plays drier leads while the echo continues. You might love it as much as I do.

That guitar is most definitely a key to Mr. Bucks current preferred sound. The treble pickup is very close to the bridge which gives the guitar great character. The P90s wide magnetic field is nice and warm while still able to cut when needed. Sweet.

Very interesting stuff having such a responsive technique in your fingers does take your tone to a unique bucking level even without the pedals 😁

Just an opinion and don’t mean to be mean but I think Chris’s skillset/level is far higher than the rest of his current band. I’d use the analogy if he was Jimmy Page he’s currently in the Yardbirds and really hope he gets to his Zeppelin.

Disagree with this one mate. Chris has impeccable control over the dynamics in his playing. He's a guitar player that delivers memorable lines in all of his solo's. He can rock many styles whilst incorporating his own techniques (micro bends/slides) with precision. Humble guy as well. check out his Friday Fretworks videos- I think the variety would appeal more to you

It all subjective. I don’t like shredder’s but they are great players. I don’t like jazz but they are amazing. I like rock /blues. A lot of people say Stevie Ray Vaughan was just a string bender. I saw him live and it was jaw dropping, it still effects me. I think Chris is easily one of the best guitarists in his style.
