I must admit, this is a different side of him that I'm not used to seeing and I like it! I first saw his interview of Dan Crenshaw and now seeing this interview, it makes me reconsider my opinion on Trevor. I felt like usually his political humor is very low hanging fruit and playing up to his left of center base. I like how he is actually having a real conversation and general interest in what his guests have to say and not just dismissing or bashing the person on general party affiliation especially those who differ from his political leaning. That happens all to often these days and only creates echo chambers that don't help any side. I will definitely take an interest in more discussions like this from Trevor and give him another chance.

He’s one of the smarter ones, but I wonder if he doesn’t see the world he’s in, at least in media, the ‘left and moderate media’ are the only ones he can get a somewhat honest and intelligent discussion with, all the rest is propaganda, always has been. Wouldn’t one rather align with people who you can have real conversations with? @@Bruddatab Reagan, actually. Since 1980's, USA has been gutting the social services and social welfare of the Americans because of Reagan. Reagan also shifted our economy to side supply economics AKA trickle down economics which has NOT worked for 99% of the Americans since the 1980's. Workers wages remained stagnated while the CEOs and executives salaries increased by a thousand fold. Oh, let's not forget our ballooning of the national debt first started under Reagan where he cut taxes but spent like a mad man. Nearly almost everything bad happening right now can link it's root directly to Reagan today.

I don't like this man, he's pretty much a snake, but to be honest, if him being a snake brings people back to some understanding and away from the insanity that trumpism caused, I will take it. Still would never vote for this man tho

"We lost" is right. GOP need to get out of DT and focus on winning instead of focus on losing.

You have to understand how Democrats think. I would have zero issues with Trump's presidency if he simply put in real effort and didn't inspire the darkest elements of people. Unfortunately, what happened was the result of having a person who didn't even want to win take office and turn our beautiful country into a ridiculous circus. He is, and will forever be incapable of doing anything but what he did, because he is a truly damaged person. I live in Massachusetts and our Republican governor has my fullest support. Republicans have adopted the ideology that people like me are demons who need to be destroyed.

Today is 6/19/23. I thought this interview was this week, until I looked and it was done 1 year ago! I watched Chris Christie's town hall and he sounds just like a year ago. I liked that.

nothing has changed. Trump will get nominated, unless he drops dead, or becomes ill. The media still make a sensation about the morality of Trump, while that's exactly the thing his fans love. Chris doesn't seem to get this, or he's just like Trump, or Guliani, Cohen. They can sell books, interviews by pitting themselves against Trump. But this changes nothing about the frustration seen in his base. On the contrary. Like the mugshot and suits, it only fuels their fire. You need someone that inspires, coming from that premise, but all I see is people bashing Trump - the strategy we've seen for nearly a decade now. ' Trump did this, or that!!' 'Get it on film!! Talk about it!' Only makes him bigger. Christie is finding out at the moment, I suppose.

I never been a fan of Governor Chris Christie, but this time I have to give him some respect as a human being. He is 100% correct when he points of the flaws of the Republican Party of today. Unfortunately, he is part of a hand full of Republicans willing and attempting to bring back some dignity, integrity, respect, compassion, tolerance, forgiveness, and respect to the Republican Party. Governor Christie demonstrates he has integrity, intelligence, and common sense.
