The only other supposed scandal was when he and his wife were on lounge chairs on the beach during the COVID lockdowns but in fact that was their own backyard at their beach house that they bought now their only residence but then being used on weekends while he was serving his last term as governor. I watched the whole thing live and thought at the time it was so pathetic how he tried to differentiate himself speaking out against Chump, but when asked if he would support him if chosen as the nominee, he fell in line (after several seconds and a quick look left and right) and raised his hand too. Party over country, always with the GOP.
