I think Chris unlocked as much for Skateboarding as anyone ever has. His tech abilities were pretty unmatched, even compared to ledge skaters. Add to the fact that he was doing this stuff on handrails and it was pretty confounding at the time. I heard him tell the story about Jamie Thomas making him stop skating mongo in order to get sponsored - it's funny seeing this older footage where he's full-blown mongo. He even runs into mongo with his back foot on the tail - that's practically a trick in and of itself!
