Truth is, Mike said it best "I'm just a different Beast Cole..." Cole gets so much respect for this match... doing those 180's and 360's for a legend late in the game (while on offense), noticing Mike V couldn't land tricks that would seem otherwise child's play for other pro skaters, and even trying that streetplant @ 4:07 (while on offense). Cole was a true OG for not busting out any Hardflips or Inward Heels here.... much respect.

I love how Cole genuinely tried to correctly do all the "old-school" tricks Mike V made him do, and how well Mike V took it when two of Cole's attempts were counted as "good" when they really weren't, even clapping and shaking Cole's hand at the end. This just shows that the best games of SKATE are all about respect, having fun, and learning from each other.

So a lot of mall skaters on here bashing Mike V......when Mike V rolls into anywhere to skate, even when there's other pros everyone sort of stops to watch mike skate. Mike V is everything skateboarding should be, and that has nothing to do with what tricks you like to do or what you like to skate its just the approach. You have to remember here Mike is one of the only people I can think of that can hold his own skating street park and a vert ramp. Hows Chris Coles vert skating? Mike skates everything because he simply is a skateboarder and doesn't abide by your rules.

I get what you're saying.. but what makes Mike v unique is his style, and attitude. Talking purely based on skill, Mike V is not anywhere near the top.. regardless of diversity. This is 2017, you have 10 year old kids doing switch hard flips down 11 stairs, and killing half pipes and parks. Mike V is a fantastic, unique and fun skater.. but you're clearly not up to date on skateboarding if you think he's one of the most skilled.

I can’t believe I’m just now watching this, but this is truly epic to see Mike v actually flat ground tricks. I was genuinely impressed about that, and that Chris Cole was able to keep up with most of what Mike dishes out to him.
