Thats exactly right. In the 90s I kinda overlooked Soundgarden till 97 down on the upside. I have had spurts of songwritng and performing .when I heard the 1st ausioslave album I was😂 into writing alot..after hearing his depth, it made me striv harder

Im the same age as Chris would be i have lost alot of family members but his death i still mourn very deeply he has that affect on people that truly get him. I always picture him as a sweet lonely original enormous heart very handsome man that needed few more hugs to assure him he was loved so much more than he realized. I only watch these videos in the wee hours and cry a thousand tears while smiling at same time. You are so much more talented than you will ever be credited for the true gift you had above all others was touching a persons soul so damn deep with your gorgeous voice and beautiful words it changed that person right then and there. Im proof❤.

Chris talked about his experiences with depression as early as 1989. The fact is, people who don't understand what depression is think that if you're not moping all the time or talking about it, you're no longer depressed. Depression that isn't situational doesn't just... go away. We carry it with us, forever. Any day could be the one where I miss my meds, don't get enough sleep, get sick, whatever that triggers another downward spiral, and every one is potentially fatal. Meds aren't an easy fix, either. Most have terrible side effects, and it's difficult to find one that mostly works for you. And sometimes they stop working for you. Those who knew Chris, knew he was still someone with depression. Trust me. They just thought it was under control. And maybe it was, until it wasn't.
