I was bowling the World Candlepin Championships in Halifax, Nova Scotia, when I found out Chris was playing 10 minutes away from my hometown of Easthampton. Probably deserved a speeding ticket or two getting to the show on time! What a treat. The crowd was in awe. No one out of line. Soaked it in. Bhi Bhiman also fantastic. A day I’ll never forget. Thanks, Chris.

BTW, not a huge Soundgarden fan. Grew up in Tacoma, and we had all the Seattle Grunge scene rammed down our throats in the 90's. There were great bands, but Soundgarden is like 5th to me. Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, MLB/Malfunkshin, Seaweed, then Soundgarden, Screaming Trees, hell ... Tad? Then some guy at the Bowling Alley with the good video games and then I guess Nirvana. Ugh, Nirvana. Mix-A-Lot then Nirvana.

@KristiEnigl4 жыл бұрын
Let's give SONGWRITERS the credit they deserve. They get paid via royalties for writing the song, and it's not much. Dolly wrote this song, and Chris is covering her version. Let's be correct on comments, please. Chris wrote over 300 hundred songs, so he should be credited as the songwriter on his songs, no matter who's is covering them (a Performance). Songwriters deserve credit, too. And I'm not taking anything away from the mighty Chris Cornell, he is my favorite of all time. xo
