Me too. I love it that he sings it and the audience sings it too. Why did he have to die, I watch his videos all the time. I love his cover of yes on Howard Stern.

What a lesson of life Cornell taught in that introductory phrase. This guy was killing himself back when he wrote his majestic album Euphoria Morning, but he made it. This week Mike Starr left us; he didn't make it... I'm glad Cornell literally survived his own misery and turned his life around, started a new family, and found happiness while still being extremely cool. Cornell's experience is rare, and should be appreciated and admired. Tremendo Chris Cornell!

I wrote this comment 6 years ago with my old KZbin user, and one of the first things I though of when I heard of Chris's passing was this performance and his introductory words... Just glad he made it that far; we all thought he was one that would live a thousand years, especially after hearing things like this, and that's why it hurts so much to see him gone. Still, along with his music he left us this example, and he indeed made it much farther than he probably expected. Tremendo Chris Cornell.

Listen to that audience... They're halfway around the world, singing their hearts out with this man whose voice and music connected personally with each and every one of them, and it happened that way with millions of others all over the world. That's Chris Cornell.

Hello, I know theres someone out there Who can understand And who's feeling the same way as me I'm twenty-four and I've got everything to live for But I know now that it wasn't meant to be 'Cause all has been lost and all has been won And there's nothing left for us to save But now I know that I don't want to be alone today So if you find that you've been feeling just the same Call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you can't hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world I've got a photograph, I'll send it off today And you will see that I am perfectly sane Not for a lifetime or forever and a day 'Cause we know now that just wont be the case Call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you can't hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world There will be no commitment and no confessions And no little secrets to keep No little children or houses with roses Just the end of the world and me 'Cause all has been gone and all has been done And there's nothing left for us to say But we could be together as they blow it all away And we can share in every moment as it breaks So call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you cant hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world So call me now it's alright It's just the end of the world You need a friend in the world 'Cause you cant hide So call and I'll get right back If your intentions are pure I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world

This is the only song I wanted to hear live that I didn’t get to hear in person. It breaks my heart. “I’m still here. I made it”. That’s how I felt from when I was 14 on. If he can do it, I can do it. ... but then he didn’t do it anymore. I still am, and will continue to. And I’ll help others. Every day that I can. Loud love.

Chris really showed a lot of joy performing in Israel. This incredible song is timely now as we are reminded daily that the rapture is coming soon. How blessed to have felt that at age 24. He sang about His Friend J. fearlessly when it was dangerous to admit that you were born again. In this performance he gives hope and encouragement to the young by still being alive after battling depression on a daily basis for his whole life. This takes the courage of Daniel in the lion's den. Chris never backed out or gave up in the face of adversity. This awesome man is the real deal. How hard could it be to wake up and love someone so true blue ?

Preaching the End of the World (Chris Cornell) Em 2009, cerca de oito anos antes do suicídio, Chris Cornell fez esse monumental show em Israel.
