This is one of the top Bond theme songs! It’s up there with Adele and Billie’s theme songs. Absolutely gives me goosebumps. One of the worlds greatest artists. Rest in peace Chris, I hope the pain is gone.

Was looking for this version to sing today, in paying tribute to Chris Cornell. I love how he sang this. But I must say, I also love his other versions. IMHO, this is Thee Best Bond Theme Song Ever!!! After hearing it, I knew it was "That Voice" I'd heard before, But, didn't know his name till I heard 'You Know My Name!' Then I Had To Know His Name! :)) When I found out what happened, I was so deeply saddened. He Loved His Fans & Kids So Very Much!! Moreover (even though I too have suffered with depression for years) I just still can't believe it! Anyways, I've become quite attached to researching his history, listening to his "Incredible Voice" which I love And, am now a Die Hard Fan! And, even though I probly can't sing many C.C. songs; I was at least blessed to sing one I think best "Honors Him." I.E "You Know My Name" (On my page if interested). RIP Chris Cornell! @purry Actually, Adelle's song was inspired by themes like Shirley Bassey's Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever, Tina Turner's Goldeneye, Garbage's The World is not Enough, and Sheryl Crow's Tomorrow Never Dies, not this one. It's not a rip off of this song at all. Cornell's theme is more inspired by themes like Live and Let Die, Thunderball, The Man with the Golden Gun, or View to a Kill.
