Been massively misunderstood this fella from the get go. Ever since the channel 5 days it’s been about trying to create a reputation and be talked about like his old man. It’s about entertainment nothing more and boxing needs characters like this to survive. Love him or hate him that’s fine but you just need to understand him. It’s just entertainment nothing more his father understood that, Jnr is trying to carry on the legacy in his own right. Boxing is far worse off without these sort of characters in the sport.

Chris is a guy that has had to deal with a lot of pressure, family circumstances that have been tragic in some instances and he still comes across as a well spoken guy who seems to have no fear. Never been a Eubank hater as love that they're different and, largely I suspect, true to themselves. Not every son can match their father's achievements and Snr set a ridiculously high bar but Jnr is game and tough so deserves every respect. Personalities make boxing better and there's no denying the Eubanks have been great in that regard! I was impressed with Smith and he is the better technician but I won't be surprised if Chris Jnr takes it on a late stoppage.
