The way he lost under his dad was far different to the loss against Smith but that could be circumstantial. Snr isnt very well that much is obvious and very hurt by the death of one son and the distancing of another. Shame and sad to see as hes a great character and although he makes mistakes seems to have a lot of integrity

The issue with Eubank Snr is that he thinks he is smarter than he actually is. In certain soundbites he sounds very intelligent and insightful but if you let him talk too much he usually goes off on a wild tangent and the entire conversation loses its flow and becomes completely incoherent and painful. Simon Jordan was smirking because he didn't know what Snr would say next to embarrass or contradict himself with next.......I'm a big fan of Snr, respect his achievements but someone keep this man away from the limelight please.

And the issue is in this social media world where we've enabled any idiot to think their opinion is valid...he is finding an audience which boosts him and supports him when he talks rubbish. Needs to be protected from himself, and it was irresponsible for talksport to even let him on.

I'm a little surprised at Hatman who discusses mental health a lot but then jumps on the 'Eubank jnr gives bizarre interview' bandwagon. Talksport/Jordan are known bullies and to have Eubank jnr on the show, when many are concerned about his mental health, shows that they only want clicks and like Hatman, care very little about a man who is still mourning the loss of a son and requires 'caring' therapy and NOT disparaging chats with no mark men who have very little care for a father's trauma.

This is a cry for help from Senior. He is trying to save his son as he clearly can't get through to him. It's a sad state of affairs. Junior was strongest under the watchful eye of his father. None of these externals can be trusted. I believe that Conor Benn didn't know like Senior says. His son is potential vulnerable to the same if he refuses to listen to those who love him. Eubank Sr is a legend but must've been an incredibly overbearing parent. He's also a massive hypocrite. Eubanks is not eccentric he’s mad, eccentric is a nice upper class word for the mentally ill. Eubanks is not upper class by birth and so he’s not eccentric he is just clinically insane and always has been. I hope he gets the help he has needed but missed because his antics sell and are a promoters dream. Plus he can fight a bit, he ducked Toney and Roy Jones JR when he was WBO world champ and took the easier hand picked opponents until he had to face Calzaghe and then got shown up.
@snakeman9902
@snakeman9902 Жыл бұрын
I think you may have misunderstood the word eccentric, it doesn't always mean middle class, it can be unconventional or odd behaviour, it doesn't have to mean mentally ill. His clothes can also be eccentric, his gimick was exactly that. So based on the above. I think Chris ticks those boxes, he is indeed eccentric. It's quite refreshing to have someone like Chris. It can have a few different explanations, the ones I mentioned, is where most people including the poster where probably going with it.

@@kevy2j28 yes I had forgotten about Steve Colin’s and how Steve Colin’s got into Eubanks head with his hypnosis speech at the pressers and leading up to the fight.
