Listening to this interview. I believe this is more about who is right and who is wrong. As an adult, you bring kids into this world and with the best of intention we want to teach them what is best from our experience. Sometimes we just need to trust god and pray for them. If you continue to push your son you will lose him if that hasn't happened already. Put your son in the hands of god and show him that you respect him despite his decisions

It's a sad thing to say but he's had a complete mental breakdown. And I say that with no malice. I can't imagine the pain and desolation one could feel with the loss of their Child. At a time like this he needs help and support, especially from his son. We are all mortal beings in which a tragic circumstances can render and reduce even the most strongest person to the sad display of what you see now. There is no shame in pain or sadness. Only sorrow and despair. I think he deserves our prayers and wishes to get well again. No matter what you think of him, at least honor him for his contribution to British Boxing. And again, whether you liked him or not, he did entertained us, playing the vaudville villian which he did so well. I would say be kind, not cruel. The poor man is mentally ill.
