+Omari Thompson Yeah, this is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine: how many directors/actors don't know anything about the comics that the movies are based on. I mean we're talking about decades of material in many cases. I always say could you imagine someone directing a Harry Potter movie saying: "Yeah, I'm going to direct the movie but I've never read the books". And yet, you routinely have people making expensive movies based on comics that they know noting about and then wonder why they don't do well. Oh, and don't get me started with those who admit they never read the comics but want to make non-canon changes to the stories and characters.

I can do that as someone who is straight. Sure, Chris Evans is a good-looking guy(as Captain America as a character, is SUPPOSED to be, anyways). But I personally am not attracted to him and I don`t personally find him attractive because I`m not gay-not that I think that there is anything wrong with being gay. If one is looking at another man and is actually attracted to him, then yes, that person may well indeed be gay or perhaps, even bisexual but it`s childish and very telling as far as how secure a man is in who they are to think that being able to say that another man is good-looking automatically inherently makes you gay.

Captain America The first Avenger 2. The Avengers 3. Captain America The Winter Soldier 4. Thor The Dark World (cameo) 5. Avengers Age of Ultron 6.Antman (post credits scene) 7. Captain America Civil War 8. Spider-Man Homecoming (cameo) 9. Avengers Infinity War 10. Captain Marvel (post credits scene) 11. Avengers Endgame Though Evans’ career in the MCU started 3 years after Robert Downey Jr.’s did and everyone sees Downey as the foundation of the grand Marvel Cinematic Universe, Evans has been in more MCU films than any other actor. A lot of people have grown accustomed to seeing Evans on screen and he’s done a fantastic job with making people fall in love with the icon that is Steve Rogers, with all of this being said I think Evans may hang it up in Endgame. I feel like Evans featured in cameos and took on rolls he didn’t have to contractually because he knew after his contract was up he’d for sure be done and after watching this interview it’s hard to see why he’d want to come back after 8 years.

It’s nice. You know he’s doing a ton of press, getting the same questions over and over but he still takes time, still answers each question like it’s the first time. That speaks well of him.

Glad he sets the record straight of the line between fiction and reality about buffing up for the role.

By the end of the interview, I felt bad for the guy! You can tell the biggest shock was getting sucked into the Hollywood news cycle, but he's remained such a down-to-earth guy and has visibly grown as a person. O Captain! My Captain!

Marvel really planned everything way long ago. Chris evans said in this interview that he had to sign 6 picture deal. Assuming the cameo in Spider-man :Homecoming and Thor:Dark World Cameo wasn't among these 6 pictures. He probably signed for 3 Captain America movies and 3 Avengers movies ( endgame and infinity war was shot together : so technically this is like 2 part of the same movie)... This proves that they planned it way long ago how they will end the story of steve rogers or even tony stark's story.

It’s amazing to see the change in Chris in 10 years. You can see how cagey and shy and very nervous he is about his first movie but any of the press for his following films he really is himself and comfy and charismatic.

+Insanely In Love With Marvel - Chris Evans had a discussion earlier in the year relating to his contract. He said he would still love to play Captain America and sees no reason to stop, unless Marvel have other plans. i.e. Bucky or Falcon as the new Captain America.

Came here after hearing that it might be his last movie as Captain America. But now that he explains it, a lot of us take for granted how much work it takes to make these films. To keep in shape while dedicating alot of your time to film these scenes. It's a huge commitment and it's certainly paid off. But if he feels like he's at that point where he wants to take a break from it all, I can totally understand that. He gave us the best version of Captain America that we could've ever hoped for and he'll always be a legend for us comic book fans.
