+jdkoz98 They are judging your age by your question. Which was a stupid question, by the way. Generally, mature people don't like other people because of their outward appearance or capabilities, but by their personality and inner traits. Hence why we like Cap and Stark. They may not be the most powerful avengers, but they are the two most developed ones (imo). Cap is tragic and noble, and stark is... difficult to summarize. But you get my point. (I hope)

Least he's honest about not reading comics. So many actors/directors swear about knowing the source material, and having been a huge fan, knowing full well they're talking out their ass.

+Omari Thompson Yeah, this is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine: how many directors/actors don't know anything about the comics that the movies are based on. I mean we're talking about decades of material in many cases. I always say could you imagine someone directing a Harry Potter movie saying: "Yeah, I'm going to direct the movie but I've never read the books". And yet, you routinely have people making expensive movies based on comics that they know noting about and then wonder why they don't do well. Oh, and don't get me started with those who admit they never read the comics but want to make non-canon changes to the stories and characters.

His apprehensiveness towards playing Captain America plays well into Steve Rogers' apprehensiveness about becoming a Super Soldier. Much like Steve Rogers, Chris had to make a commitment to a play and embody a role bigger than himself.

@@vanillaGreen1 But that`s a ridiculous line of thinking and unfortunately, a lot of men think that way. You can be heterosexual and look at another man and concede that they`re good-looking. I can do that as someone who is straight. Sure, Chris Evans is a good-looking guy(as Captain America as a character, is SUPPOSED to be, anyways). But I personally am not attracted to him and I don`t personally find him attractive because I`m not gay-not that I think that there is anything wrong with being gay. If one is looking at another man and is actually attracted to him, then yes, that person may well indeed be gay or perhaps, even bisexual but it`s childish and very telling as far as how secure a man is in who they are to think that being able to say that another man is good-looking automatically inherently makes you gay.

Marvel really planned everything way long ago. Chris evans said in this interview that he had to sign 6 picture deal. Assuming the cameo in Spider-man :Homecoming and Thor:Dark World Cameo wasn't among these 6 pictures. He probably signed for 3 Captain America movies and 3 Avengers movies ( endgame and infinity war was shot together : so technically this is like 2 part of the same movie)... This proves that they planned it way long ago how they will end the story of steve rogers or even tony stark's story.

"Steroids" The number one word haters would say whenever they see a celebrity with good physique and good muscle shape.

Most celebrities use steroids for roles like these, there's nothing "hater" about it, it's just a fact. They still have to work their ass off.

John Klitsko Yeah, thats the worst part about it, when people say 'oh they just took steoids to look like that'. People don't realise that it still takes a hell of a lot of work, to look as good as these guys do on screen, even with performance enhancing drugs. Its not just take a pill and wait for the results.

ZoelakerbotYeah, the thing is that Chris Evans has been in good shape for years. For Captain America, he was like 190 lbs. He's not even that big. I seriously doubt he took steroids.

Zoelakerbot Before these guys shoot scenes without their shirts, they do a10-15 min pre-workout to pump blood into their muscles. Anyone here who works out understands how awesome your physique looks after a great workout. Couple that in with an awesome diet and there you have it. However, There are many who do use HGH and steroids to get a quick pump, that has been known for the Sparticus cast.

I've just started the Chris Evans workout routine myself after gaining 30-40 lbs of muscle over the last year (I was a small fry from high 120s to mid 160s at 5'10"). I like it so far but i need to workout longer there. Work is making this difficult and hes right about the diet. Bad habitual diets are difficult to shrug off for bland, healthier food and the amount you have to eat to sustain the growth momentum is INSANE.

Chris Evans has featured in the 9 films to which he agreed to with his contact, but at this point in the MCU he’s technically surpassed that number. Evans has appeared in the following MCU films: 1. Captain America The first Avenger 2. The Avengers 3. Captain America The Winter Soldier 4. Thor The Dark World (cameo) 5. Avengers Age of Ultron 6.Antman (post credits scene) 7. Captain America Civil War 8. Spider-Man Homecoming (cameo) 9. Avengers Infinity War 10. Captain Marvel (post credits scene) 11. Avengers Endgame Though Evans’ career in the MCU started 3 years after Robert Downey Jr.’s did and everyone sees Downey as the foundation of the grand Marvel Cinematic Universe, Evans has been in more MCU films than any other actor. A lot of people have grown accustomed to seeing Evans on screen and he’s done a fantastic job with making people fall in love with the icon that is Steve Rogers, with all of this being said I think Evans may hang it up in Endgame. I feel like Evans featured in cameos and took on rolls he didn’t have to contractually because he knew after his contract was up he’d for sure be done and after watching this interview it’s hard to see why he’d want to come back after 8 years.
