There is no reason to be friends with a teen if you are not a teen. That is the issue. It is a mental illness that these people have and I wish jail wasn't the only thing done to them. They should need counseling/therapy before they are released back into public. When they say they are 'just friends' its a lie, its how they try to normalize the situation for themselves, even though their main goal is to do bad things with the teen. People in normal relationships make the same argument if they are hanging out with someone other than their partner but the main goal is to sleep with that person. How many times have you heard people say "I'm hanging out with X, but don't worry we are just friends, I still love you" in movies/TV/stories from friends if it hasn't happened to you.

@liddytheweeb10 ай бұрын
@@oxymontana Not quite. Accidental murders are, by definition, an accident. Panic murderers still intentionally kill them, even if it is in a state of panic where they aren’t thinking straight. Panic murderers also are likely to be serial killers, while an accidental murder is gonna be a one off event that wasn’t intended to happen. Of course, a lot of killers try to say their crimes were an accident, but that’s just an excuse to make their crimes seem less severe in an attempt to lessen the charges they’re facing.

Getting people to sit down/ comply and think they can’t leave even when they totally can is a skill. Back when I worked in security I learned how to do that. Got a guy to sit and wait for the police for over an hour without telling him he wasn’t allowed to leave (cause technically I couldn’t hold anyone in custody at that job.) It’s not easy and Chris Hansen is the master of the skill. Part of it is that he never sits down and gets on their level. He’s always looking down at them. Also he stays calm and only asks questions he already knows the answers to so when they lie and he can prove them wrong it makes them feel more helpless and like there’s no escape. The psychological concepts are simple but it’s all in the execution. It also helps that these guys he catches aren’t the brightest.

TBH I think this would not be considered entrapment even if it was law enforcement doing it, as they have nothing forcing them to commit the acts or to the conversation.
