@@Mattis_Bengtsson Yes, it's the Judas Priest thing. Also, when guitars are layered in the studio, which is just recording the same thing multiple times, it gives a chorus effect as well. Ozzy did that with his vocals. It all sounds great.

To be honest, what Chris has been doing musically isn't really bad, it's actually pretty good, and his guitar sound is still that same great tone he had with WASP.. The only two glitches in the formula so far is that Chris needs a front man that can deliver a solid vocal performance and a better producer working on the pre-release mixdown..

I know right.. With todays pc recording technology as it is a guy like Chris shouldn't have any problem finding an decent producer that would finalize his tracks for a fair price as long as he stays away from the mainstream BS of L.A./Vegas/NYC/Etc... Heck, if he was in the States I'd take a crack at it for free and I could definitely do a way better job than the current mix!.. As for the vocal issue, the guy playing rhythm guitar doesn't do too bad with his vocal duties on the live stuff that's been posted so far.. Hook him up with a vocal coach to smooth off the rough edges and he'd probably shape up to be a pretty decent front man, he's already got the look.. On the other hand, Chris might actually sound better with some proper plugins on his vocal track because it doesn't like they tried to experiment with any comps or verbs or anything, it's like they just plugged a mic in and handed it to him dry with no fx bling at all.. lol

Chris is by far one of the best metal guitarist from the 80's and today. But a singer he is not one of the best. He needs to find him a solid frontman and a good producers and this band could do great things and go far.

I just stumbled onto this album a few days ago. The more i listen the more I really like it. Holmes never lost his touch on guitar and it sounds as good as ever in my opinion. Hes always had a great tone and riffs People are giving him shit over the vocals and ill say this: its definitely different than when Blackie sang. But its not terrible by any means and coming from his point of view; he spent years under an asshole lead singer that screwed him over constantly. Why would he run out and let another prima donna fuck up his own project? You gotta look at it from both sides really.

It's so sad and disappointing when the people who you grew up loving, and listening to, can't stand each other. That said, this song is pretty awesome! The lyrical delivery is not spectacular, but it kind of works, and it's totally honest. I love Blackie as a front man, but it doesn't surprise me to think that he'd be the type of guy to rip his bandmates off.
