Do you want to see Chris Jericho do a "Retirement tour" when the time comes or do you like his plan to transition out when he's ready? Let us know in the comments.

I just don't want to see him wrestle or sing ever again. His ship sailed away a long time ago, and Jeri-dad doesn't impress me in the ring or on stage singing. I'm fine with him going around telling stories and stuff, but otherwise, I'm very much all set on this guy.

I don't want to see him do a Flair-like match when he's obviously too freaking old and his body is falling apart (wrestling on blood thinners and a pacemaker? Frak no!). And I don't want him too do a Goldberg type press junket and say this company owes me a retirement match against this person. Um, no they don't. They don't OWE you anything.

As a weekly regular, I think his time is coming to a close. I'd like to see him presented like how Sting has been in the past few years, a veteran who supports new talent and only wrestles on special occasions, that way the aura of his character doesn't get lost. Right now he can still definitely go, but there will come a time where he just won't be able to wrestle like he wants/believes he can.

I would've liked to heard a follow up question on how he feels his in ring style has had to change as he's aged. He's now in a place where his body shows the age, so I'd like to hear his mindset on how he's chosen to protect himself from injuries etc...

He was at such a high level in the ring people rag about how he is in the ring now which is a testament to his talent level no one in AEW other than Sting could lace his boots in Jerichos prime. Man went toe to toe with prime Angle, Mysterio, Benoit, HHH, Eddie , Rock not to mention Jushin Thunder Liger, Ultimo Dragon, La Parka Austin, HBK RVD and a lot more not just in America but all over the world. He really is Goated🔥 easily top 5 all time and it’s not a debate or popularity contest.

I can't realistically envisage Jericho accepting an induction into the HOF unless/until each and every nagging injured part of his anatomy play the numbers game and say in union "Nothing doin'!", resulting in Jericho no choice but to leave his boots in the middle of the ring. What's more, it would be very much in keeping with his character. It would not be dissimilar to veteran UK Rock & Pop acts not wanting to receive the lifetime achievement award at the Brits.
