I can still remember when my Pops got Chris’ first album. I’m a metal head so at first I hated it. The more my Pops and I went fishing, deer hunting or just riding around together the more I became the one to pick his albums to jam to. I took to Pretty Good Guy first and almost 25 years later Chris is still one of my favorite artists. None of the contemporary pop country garbage can touch Chris’ stuff.

Ah Chris , you bring a dark story to life in a way nobody else does. Fresh out of the play book of the hill country back woods rural folk of the 1930's - 40's.
