Am I the only one that notices A LOT more discussion about faith and christ for the past months, I was born again recently and I am noticing this. Everyone I follow is suddenly talking about this, Christians are popping up everywhere. Is it the algorithm screwing with me or is the great evil in this world at the moment driving people to the conclusion that absolute supernatural good also must exist

Nah I've been noticing it too. The darker the world gets, the more people look for light. The more absolute that darkness, the more absolute the light that is searched for. But the darkness definitely isn't going down without a fight; I've also seen a lot more blatant satanism as well, especially in hollywood and music, and then with that "SatanCon". They're barely even trying to hide it anymore, if at all; The darkness is also figuring out that people are so brainwashed that even if they just straight up announce themselves, everyone will give them the benefit of the doubt, or worse yet, completely agree. The forces of evil are being honest about themselves because the whole world has become a safe space. They really don't have too many threats left. Honestly, I'm starting to get pessimistic that the human singularity will prevail, but I still fight to have faith and hope.

It's due to the lateness of the hour. I'd much rather be doing my own research or art than developing a soteriology course. We're in dire straits so everyone has to contribute as well as hold the line.

According to this video, if Christianity, Islam, or Judaism is to be examined within the CTMU framework, certain religion's parts need to be trimmed

All languaged religion is a reification of a small part of the reality it seeks to express. The perennial philosophy may be the most penetrating gateway into that reality. As long as we focus on the reifications we'll miss the underlying truths we seek to discern. It's an unavoidable result of trying to describe in language that truth which is basically beyond the the ability of language to express.

Dear Chris, do you think that people can be happy without necessarily believing in religion?
@CTMURadio Жыл бұрын
Of course they can. I'm not Chris, but that's common sense. The problem is that they would need a framework of ethics so they do need something (like the CTMU).

Dear Chris, how does one maintain faith in life?
@CTMURadio Жыл бұрын
I'm not Chris, but you can start by expanding your knowledge of what you wish to have more faith in. Enjoy your journey!

This is so Christ focused, seems to be a bit of a black hole as far as other religions go. Additionally, a lot of the arguments about supporting churches seem to fall into a utilitarian argument about the benefit to that particular church rather than having anything to do with a metareligious truth. If all of the models in this framework require a Christ figure, then what of the redemption of every human being before Christ was born? What does this say about your position on Jewish people? Buddhists, taoists?

Faith =/= Logic. Faith = Logic to Chris. He has to be careful assuming reality is unforgiving and destructive towards others. Jesus bridges the impossibility of God and he said he is the ONE and ONLY way. Whilst the core is responsible for guiding every faith, it reaches it's own conclusion to every single soul (Which witnesses itself to Heaven or Hell). Self or Honesty.
@jw6588Ай бұрын
You didn't pay attention. He said that logic is a necessary condition for faith. He did not say it was a sufficient condition. I believe in Jesus Christ the Savior and Jehovah our Lord, but I believe you should also pay attention to what someone says before trying to summarize it.

Actually, faith requires logic. This is different from being the same thing. As in, you can logically come to the conclusion that God exists, but you gotta have faith that Christ is God.

Jesus Christ established the Catholic Church in 33AD. It teaches that God allowed a diversity of religions without denying the supernatural good of the one true religion of the Catholic Church. Only the Catholic Church has the fullness of the truth. However, the Catholic Church recognises good in other religions even though they don’t have the fullness of the truth. Despite the many errors and heresies in Protestantism, it has elements of truth. So for an ignorant Protestant, Muslim, or Hindu, those who are “invincibly” ignorant concerning the truth of Jesus Christ and his One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, will not be culpable for this lack of knowledge before God.

Where’s your proof that Jesus started the Catholic Church?
@ochem12319 күн бұрын
The Catholic Church has plenty of proof for Her claims. The only limitation is your willingness to engage the Catholic Church to discover the Truths taught by the Church. ❤️🔥🇻🇦🇺🇸⚕️
