I remember Chris used to post on a forum I attended years ago. I would always look forward to his input and even though it was an anonymous forum, I always knew it was him replying.

Chris never posts anonymously. People think he does but he never does. He has never posted to /pol or any anonymous forum like that. He posted to ARN years back but, again, that was under his real name.

Hi Chris, Im very intrigued about the idea of Metareligion. I come from religious and academic jewish mysticism background. I want to ask you about the cotroversy of God being made Flesh in the idea of Jesus in Christianity. How do you explain this? I believe in the exsitence of god in a panentheistic sense and yet the idea of a Man which is a direct manifestation of God does not sound logical to me. Also,How would you explain the idea of the age of existence itself in the Bible with pretty hard facts of the age of the universe as we know it by science?

You are not the only one that contacts us with topics of urgency. Chris consults and if you are interested in scheduling, information is at the teleologic substack (teleologic.org). Thank you for respecting his time!

Is the return of Christ that miracle we need to singularize?
@CTMURadio
@CTMURadio Жыл бұрын
That's a good way of putting it. I don't think Chris thinks that Christ is literally coming back again in the flesh; rather, the return of Christ and the kingdom that will accompany it is the Human Singularity (when we have integrated and manifested His teleologic message)..

The supernatural event (the great solar flash) is something that will awaken the dormant dna within us.. that's the 2nd coming of Christ..but to receive that energy you need to prepare yourself by meditation or bhakti or hath yoga or kriya yoga or some well tested spiritual practice

Will be very likely to occur around 2031.. parallely the Earth's Schumann resonance will also increase manyfolds, leading to demise of low vibrational (the evil elites, Chris langan usually talks about) After loads of chaos(disease/war/natural disasters etc etc..)And the Earth will enter it's Golden age, named as Satyuga , heaven on earth as in Bible or similar in Hopi prophecy

That’s not what Muslims believe. I love you Chris, but come on man. It is pretty clear from this and the video where you called Mohammed a warlord that you are not well-versed in Islam at all. It is disappointing because it sounds like you are repeating anti-Muslim talking points that are demonstrably false.

I get it, and Chris does also. We know that there are extremists in all religions without exception. As noted elsewhere in the comments, I did edit this part out of our shorter version because we all paint with broad strokes at times, and it can get confusing. But yes, Chris believes that Christ was a cut above the others (see Logos, Jesus, and the CTMU). Islam has been more radicalized than most other religions. I'm sure Chris (and possibly you) would agree with that, but that's not the point. The point is that Islam, like Christianity, has many positive aspects (insofar as they share quite a bit of metareligious core structure). It is the core structure of all religious traditions that needs to be strengthened. Thanks for your comments :)

@@CTMURadio - as a Muslim, we believe that Christ, Muhammed, and all of the other prophets (Abraham, Noah, Moses, etc.) were a cut above the rest. Jesus is actually one of the most important figures in Islam, and he is mentioned more times in the Quran than any other prophet - including Muhammed. His mother, Mary, is also the most venerated female figure in the religion and has an entire chapter dedicated to her. The Quran does not advocate killing infidels anywhere, and the "72 virgins" reward is also nowhere to be found. There is not one single passage. The passage people often cite to justify this belief is: "And kill them wherever you find them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah [Persecution] is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers." [2:191] The problem with this interpretation is that the lines before and after this show that this is clearly in self-defense and as a last resort. That is how it has always been understood historically, and monsters like ISIS and the Taliban (most of whom can't even read) choose to misinterpret this and other passages to justify their atrocities. Islam's radicalization only started about 100 years ago, and occurred in the poorest of places (e.g. places like Iraq, not Turkey) after colonialism and imperialism destroyed the educational systems and economies of many countries in the Muslim world. Many affected countries went from a near 100% literacy rate and some of the highest standards of living in the world to less than 25% literacy and extreme poverty in two generations. For almost 1000 years, the Muslim world advanced science, mathematics, culture, economics, and civilization. In fact, it was the Muslims who preserved the ancient Greek texts of philosophers like Plato and Aristotle and mathematicians like Euclid, passing this back to the Greeks and along to the Europeans over the course of hundreds of years. Most of the Islamic world is not a separate entity from the West as is being portrayed today, the Islamic world IS the West. This last century happens to be one where we have our most striking social and economic differences. The media chooses to focus on our differences instead of our similarities. I would certainly not generalize Christians based on extremist groups that blow up abortion clinics, or because of the atrocities committed by the various inquisitions or during the crusades. That is why I feel it is important to speak out in the hopes that Chris addresses his lack of knowledge in this subject, as he is demonstrably wrong and may do unintentional harm by reinforcing beliefs that incite hate in some people. Lastly, I would opine that of all of the world's religions, Islam actually comes the closest to describing God as the CTMU does. God is ultimate reality, that which cannot be accurately defined, that creates but was not created. That is one of the reasons that I find the CTMU so fascinating. I am a great admirer of both Chris and this channel. Peace, and thank you for the thoughtful response.

@@CTMURadio I am not very well versed in CTMU, as I am just beginning to study. But at a first glance, I can see some similarities between CTMU theory and the writings of Ibn Arabi, one of the great mystics (Sufis) of Islamic mystical tradition, dating back to 13th century. I would suggest a critical study, and please be informed that there is not one Islam as there is not one Christianity. God bless.
