I too struggled with being completely clean and sober for many years. I thought I'd at least smoke weed for the rest of my life. When I finally made a real commitment, went all in for my recovery and decided to truly live a spiritual life, all in.....I did it. I've been completely clean and sober over 5.5 years. 6 years in June if I make it, God willing. You CAN DO IT. If I can do it, if Leben can do it, so can you bud.

No ever mentions my favorite Chris Leben moment. He was getting beaten in a fight. I can't remember the fighter but he was kinda thick, black, and was obviously winning. That fighter started to taunt Chris. You could see a switch go off in Chris' head and he went all in and knocked him out. I've never seen the fight again and its been this many years but I still remember how he mentally refused to lose. I am most interested in the mental side of combat. Most people do not know this but historically, mentality was everything. When there were no guns or gun powder it was all about mentality. They sacrificed animals, prayed to their Gods, went to mystics, looked for signs, but when weapons were simple, mentality was everything. "Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog."
