My first concert when I was 4 years old was Chris LeDoux in Wichita, Kansas and still got his autograph on my dad's Copenhagen can, we had passed and he chuckled when I said my name was Coben but everyone calls me Cobenhagen

Rest in peace. You were the reason I picked up a guitar ( the second time around) and the reason I got into the rodeo. God Bless Chris Ledoux

Favorite all time singer. I've been listening to Chris since the 70s when he was a World Champion Bareback Bronc rider. I have everything he's ever released, in one form or another, CD, 8 track, cassette tapes, and records. I even have two of his songbooks. Met him numerous times at rodeos throughout the country, one of the nicest guys in the world. GOD BLESS CHRIS LEDOUX!!!! I listen to his son Ned LeDoux a lot these days. He's a chip of the old block.

It is funny that this video was recorded in the West German TV (ZDF) show DISCO in 1980. Chris LeDoux was popular in Germany at that time.

OMG! This is the man my Dad requested albums from back for Christmas in the 1980's and the local stores were clueless about him! Could not even spell his name. Now we have these wonderful memories!! RIP Chris Ledoux!!! Good Ride Cowboy Good Ride......

@wingtote I totally agree. even though he wasn't fully recognized till the 90s his music has always had the same feel and his voice is even better live than on a recording.

I would love to know who was playing with him in this performance. He didn't have a band in 1980.
