One silver lining to the 24h news cycle is that narratives go through their entire lifespan much quicker. It’s refreshing to hear the ‘discourse’ around Boston start to turn a corner.

If they win, people will still say, "But...." And come up with some new way to criticize them. Look at cowherd. He said the other day, yeah the C's may win but they are not a dynasty type team.... It's just ridiculous and driven by personal bias.

Dan always brings up “everyone played in the bubble” which is such a strawman argument to why the 2020 bubble ring isn’t worth alot. Lebron and AD were both dealing with nagging injuries and had 4 months off to recover. The bubble gave the Lakers a much bigger advantage than everyone else. Without the bubble the Lakers probably wouldn’t have even made the 2nd round with a hobbled AD and LeBron

Literally everyone also had those same 4 months to recover and recoup. I’m a Celtics fan who hates Lebron but cmon man. You can play this little asterisk game with every championship team throughout nba history. At the end of the day a ring is a ring.
