The Celtics garner 64 wins, and if your argument is “Tatum has an array of talent on his team”, then why is he the only person who to receive all NBA honors? And if your argument is opposite (i.e., Tatum doesn’t have anyone on his team) then why didn’t Tatum get on the shortlist for MVP? Which one is it??? It's always odd when people try to downplay Magic or Bird for playing with HoFers. Great players make their teammates better. Perhaps the reason McHale and Parish are in the HoF is BECAUSE they played with Bird. Maybe Worthy is Dominique Wilkins without Magic.

Arguing the Celtics shouldn't get honors because they are using their skill set, applying it well but that doesn't have to do with how good any individual players are and then arguing the Luka shouldn't be compared to greats who won if he can't apply his skillset to winning.
