@@nii-lanteilamptey2429 It's a shame that DC has died. I know we are older but there is nothing that caters to us. Atleast the old folks had Zanzibar and some other spots back in the day. We are stuck partying with the kids. Park is young folks now. There are a couple of older crowd spots around the city like smoke and mirror, Ciel, but our crowd is washed lol....not sure if its me, but the bad ass women I use to see during our club days were hands down the baddest. Now I only see a select few bad chicks when I hit these spots. Every weekend, I'm trying to figure out where the bad chicks go lol....DC is dead man

I remember being a sub-promoter for Club Dream in DC back in 2002. I was in the Army back then and I had a large crew from Maryland, VA and DC come out to party on the weekend. Good times man. I still have my light green Dream ID card!

We need to get all the owners, former and current promoters from DC and do a documentary. Mad Power Unit, Abdul from DC live/H2O etc….DC was a movie from 1996-2006.

Best Podcast I seen this year. Marc and Chris was dropping so much game.This is a blueprint on how to put together a Podcast and not just a one on one interview. Marc was in the mood to give away all his nightclub secrets. He was with his man Chris so it had the right energy. Wouldn't have gotten all this out of him if it was just a one on one interview.

As many times as I've gone to Dream, Love, Republic Gardens, DC Live, Zanzibar etc. I've never heard Marc's own actual take on being a club owner. All I ever heard was negative press and his bad rep from people I know that know him. I was kinda "hating" when the interview started. I now have much better respect for him. Thanks for this interview! I think I might go check out Park agin!

@@sereroserera367 the gentlemen are talking about ny and dc nightlife which are not the same audience but they are reacting to what Ryan Cameron said on Atlanta Nightlife… this was a city that danced when they put sections in and went bottle service it killed Atlanta’s Club Atmosphere… they went from being huge venues to now being a 3rd of the size
@sereroserera3675 ай бұрын
@@flynflashyent gotcha. But how do you explain that african or caribbean clubs also have sections yet people still dance a lot in there ? I personally think it has more to do with the fact that hip hop and rnb for the past 10 years is mostly moody and low tempo which suits more for a vibe and posing as opposed to hitting the dance floor and sweating
