Chris should have "The Magician II" on his shirt. We all know who the first magician really is.

Chiss tip hit the 11-ball... Honorable called the foul but extremely hard to see. Often, the tip strikes the cue ball, known as a double hit, or push shot. A Key reason many league games state to shoot at a 45-degree angle. To prevent cue going forward. But it can be seen at an extremely slow speed the tip guides the 11-ball in...

Geeze, the balls look like baseballs

8:34 I don't understand the foul here. Chris hit his ball & made it. There was nothing else near to hit.
@daveduncan900514 күн бұрын
I believe the foul may have been a double hit with the cue on the cue ball. Only Chris would know.
@vinciiiii548413 күн бұрын
based on the sound when hit the cueball,i think it kissed in the tip.
@zanethind11 күн бұрын
It was a double hit. Closely you could hear the sound. He was smart to call it himself actually and that shows great sportsmanship too and awareness

Double hit the cue ball. If you slow the video down you can see he travels through the cue ball and it catches it again (sprocket at the bottom right has playback speed, I went to .25). It is easier to see at 8:56 with the overhead replay

8 ball should only be played on a 7 ft table. Its the congestion that make it tough!

Why didn't they use reds and yellows for this, much easier for tv audience to see and there's no need for numbered balls
@Motherdisco13 күн бұрын
Because this is a call-shot game. Balls have to be numbered to do that.
@garywilson330813 күн бұрын
@@Motherdiscoi know 8ball in USA is shot calling game, but i didnt hear any player calling shots. As i understand,ultimate pool is the UK version of chinese 8ball without calling 8ball pocket using reds & yellows plus time limits.

@@garywilson3308it’s international 8 ball, not English 8 ball, English 8 ball is the reds and yellows
@Vince_Paul5 күн бұрын
A number of reasons. In the USA, China and some other countries they use numbered balls spots & stripes as they play another version in which you have to call the number ball your going to hit or pot. Your also notice the balls are bigger than English pool and the pockets are bigger on this table. English pool use to use numbered balls and spots and stripes also. But this was changed a number of years ago to yellow & red with no numbers. Then the white got spots and the black got a stripe, Mainly for tv. English balls are much smaller and the white is even smaller again, along with much smaller pockets. The rules over the last 5 years across epa, world and international have also been made the same, an with ultimate pool going to the USA these rules have carried across. Ultimate pool are doing everything to make the rule set across the world the same for 8 ball pool. An you may also find over time the table will be 7ft and the pockets made smaller as well as the balls. So no matter we’re you go your have the same rules, same size table and balls. Your mite even find that the balls goto yellow and red etc.. All with a shock clock and a match time limit for competitions. As it makes it much more entertaining to watch.
