Pop wouldn’t expect Chris Paul, a seasoned NBA veteran with 20 years of experience, to practice as intensely as the younger players. Pop respects Cp immensely, and he’s also load management creator.

Exactly what I’m saying. Pop’s not stupid, he’s doing to give Paul some flexibility and isn’t going to run him like a rookie. That’s like saying, “well if he’s starting he’s going to have to play 45 minutes a game.” No he’s not. Spurs are smart.

Chris Paul is a methodical guy. A meticulous blueprint oriented guy. I bet he is planning to coach after this. Perhaps be Pop's assistant coach for the next 5 years. His methodical style helped SGA to be a methodical and patient player. Hopefully, Stephon Castle can benefit from his mentorship.

What's in it for Chris Paul is that he wants a future in coaching, and while the young Spurs will be mentored by one of the great PG's in league history, so too will Chris Paul be mentored by one of the greatest coaches in league history. Don't be surprised to see him back as an assistant on the SA sidelines in 2025-26

My god. it's called sports "talk" not sports yell. Some advice to the Carton Show. Viewers will tolerate some faded graphics, or an occasional frame lost, but the human brain cannot tolerate bad audio. It has nothing to do with the topics, or the on screen talent. It's a humanistic thing built into us as a creature. Think of animals in the wild. They only screech/yell when there's danger, and us humans instinctively avoid excessive noise. Your guests don't need to yell. Microphones have gotten really good over the years at6 picking up normal speech. Check your click through rates to see my point.
