I love love love the Pivot. I was watching when two of you were with IAA. I think this is much better. I'm writing to say I watched this podcast and it was so warm and inspiring. I am a nearly 59yr old BF and I try to watch all your podcasts. I have a celeb crush on RC. He is so humble and decent. Its hard to imagine him aggressive as players need to be to play the sport. Back to the Chris Paul thing. To RC and CP: you dont know how deeply your life experiences have touched me as a mother of two BM in their 20's. Your decency, integrity, vulnerability and transparency as men, fathers, husbands, sons, etc means there is hope for all our men. Your faith in God. Your audience isnt just men or athletes. I am a faithful viewer and I appreciate what you all are putting out into the world. I wish the man I love were like you all. I've been engaged to him 2.5 years but leaving him tomorrow. I have to just walk away. Seeing you all only confirms for me that there is a better man out there waiting for a lady just like me to love, support, respect and honor him while we watch Pivot together. I wish you all would do a few more shows on the abusive men; mentally, emotionally unavailable men we spend our lives supporting in hopes of their transformation to better men. 'robert clayton' is not my name....its my daddy's name. I use it to keep him on my mind and to honor him. Keep blessing us. J

As always, I enjoyed this episode of The Pivot Podcast but this one means so much because I'm a New Orleanian who will always love Chris Paul and his family. Although there are many reasons for my feelings toward Paul and his family, these are the primary three: 1) he always gave his best for Hornets/Pelicans fans; 2) he treated my niece - who is currently 18 yo - and her kindergarten classmates to a Target shopping spree - which she remembers to this day and 3) when he left the city, he showed his gratitude by leaving a few "Thank You" billboards around the city. The third reason made me cry...seriously, I was riding on I-10, the day after the announcement was made of his leaving the city, and looked up and saw his "Thank You" sign; burst into tears....real talk!
