The guy is not afraid to be a guy that has a capability to do something that just takes a little practice. My guy is very comfortable braiding my hair for me, it took him a few times to get them right, but after a little practice on his model (me) he does them quite well. He does French, Dutch, fishtail, rope and variations of these. I get compliments on them, and I have gotten positive feedback when he has braided my hair for me in public places. Comments that they are jealous that my guy can do it, some women comment that they wish they knew how to braid, and even some that say very cool, can I be next? Guys that can braid their wife's, (or girlfriend's) and/or daughter's hair are just smart, caring guys that took the time to learn to do something special for the people they care about. Nothing unmanly about it. The only ones who would think so are guys that feel insecure about themselves or women who are jealous because they can't get their guy to do it for them. Chris Pratt has class, no doubt.

My brother learned to braid on me when we were kids, and now he braids his daughters' hair (his wife's hair isn't long enough for a simple ponytail) for them when they want to be fixy about their hair, he can even put ribbons and stuff in it now. And that is so true, it makes his wife turn to goo over him fixing one/both of their daughters' hair, he even did their older daughter's hair for the wedding! And his girls, you can tell, just feel so loved and cared for when he does their hair. And our elder brother has sons, but he taught the oldest one to braid hair and when my sister-in-law broke her arm a couple years ago, her son braided her hair for her a few times so she could keep her hair out of her face while she was reading or something around the house, and my brother used to do her hair for her before she left for work.
