He's an actor, they (unfortunately) don't have to become and know their character inside out anymore. He really doesn't care. Of course he doesn't expect to have nailed it when he knows literally nothing about the character he's playing. That being said, it could be entertaining and funny but they would have to pay him more than they did for the movie to compensate him for the thousands of hours it would take for him to beat all the super Mario brothers games

@@FireyDeath4 super Mario brothers 2 and 3 are pretty tough even if you skip most of the games with warps. For a person who's never played a video game in their life it would take ages to complete
