Chris, I know you probably will never read this message, but I got to get this off my chest. I just recently became a huge fan of yours, I'd say about 5 months ago. I've seen a ton of your videos and you are by far one of the best magicians out there... not only that your a cool dude too! However, this video in particular touched my heart! Since Christmas of last year, my dad has fought through Stage 4 Liver Cirrhosis, it was so bad that I thought we were going to lose him before 2018. He has also fought and won against Prostate Cancer, and just had hip sugery (which the ball joint popped out of socket a couple days after surgery). I say all that to say this, you make the impossible, seem possible... not only that, you explain how it can be done. Also, I would love my dad to get that feeling of amazement, as I do watching your videos... wether it be solving puzzles (which I personly love) or your magic (which I'm trying to learn, by my fat fingers get in the way... haha). My dad, is my best friend, and he's been through a lot. To see a smile on that mans face is such a gift to me... because it was almost taken away!! Thank you, and please keep up the wonderful work you do!! Semper Fi my man!!

Magic is such a beautiful craft. I remember how i felt when someone performed a trick i learned barely 2 years ago. And the trick was done in front of me when i was probably 14 years old. I'm 27 now I wish I had practiced more of it. Because it's people like Chris Ramsay that make the world a whole lot more interesting. And better. I have not a clue what his budget is but South Texas needs people like him. There might be one guy out here as we speak perfecting the craft enough to perform but until that better magician pops out. I'll do simple simple slight of hands every now and then. The one I'm trying to perfect now is a coin trick, but it just falls everywhere each time.

I want to learn those kinds of tricks, unfortunately I know some alright ones. I love magic and I love how people react when you do something they don't expect, especially when you 'mess up' I work at a gas station, so you know I ain't doing good in my career choices, but I started learning how to do actual magic in order to make every trip a customer has a special and unique one. I must admit my heart gets warmer every time someone says "you just made my day so much better!" or when little kids have that sense of wonder and they're just genuinely blown away and they just high five you, give you a hug or just brag about you to their friends at school. I love how magic touches people and they just genuinely become happy. Pass those smiles around more often!

I know this is an old video.. and who knows if you’ll actually see this but about a month or two ago i recently decided to get into magic. Figured I needed something new.. played in a metal band for 3 years. Did stand up comedy for 5 years. Try to incorporate the two together but I needed something new.. I just like performing and as i was stumbling through videos and tutorials learned a trick or two I came across the video where you did a mentalism trick to a guy through FaceTime.. and something about the way you performed.. explained.. your style all around I’ve spent almost all my free time watching your videos and practicing techniques you’ve showed for hours until my pinky was too cramped to move and my fingers were bleeding. From passes to shuffles to the one I’ve practiced the most being the bottom card control you teach in your shoot three cards out of the deck video.. I haven’t done actual street magic but I work two jobs and I’ve done multiple tricks to all my CO workers. I’m a server at one job and I do tricks to my customers which has helped my tips actually.. and pretty much everything I’ve learned has been from you. 90% of everything i do. All of the magicians I’ve watched from different youtubers, contestants on atg and “fool us” you’ve easily became my favorite magician by a long shot. I don’t know if people tell you this often or not but i respect all the advise you give and follow through.. from buying cards (bought Walgreens, target and Walmart out of blank tiger bicycle and the chainless bikes which are my favorite) to even books you’ve recommended that I’ve purchased. All of which has helped and I finally came across this video and your words describing magic is what I needed. The motivation. It’s the same way I felt doing comedy.. just performing and shocking by jokes, tricks or both.. the feeling and the reaction of the spectator is the real magic dad makes the hours of practice worth it. Don’t know if you’ll read this or if you’ll respond if you do but I just want to say thank you for doing the things you do and posting the things you post. You’re the shit. Keep it up!
