Ok, let me introduce Bring Me The Horizon for you. Lead singer/front-man/song writer is Oliver Sykes, back vocals/programming/keyboards is Jordan Fish, Lee Malia − lead guitar, Matt Kean - bass and Matt Nicholls on drums/percussion. They started up as deathcore band with debut album Count Your Blessings in 2006 which was met with critical disdain but the band didnt give up and began to work on their next album. Bring Me the Horizon recorded their second studio album, Suicide Season (2008), the creative turning point for the band which brought guys to a bigger stages. After Suicide Season success they released their third album, There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It (2010), which gave them greater international fame. With commercial and musical success Oliver was addicted and abused of the drug Ketamine. After rehab he said "When I got out of that rehab, I didn't want to scream anymore, I wanted to sing from the fucking rooftops." on that basis they added more electronic and pop sound which shifted to lighter music, so the their major label debut, Sempiternal (2013) achieved many awards and became most loved by fans. Next album That's the Spirit (2015) debuted with critical acclaim due to more pop sound, so fan base splitted up on two bases who liked their direction and other which prefer their heavier sound. But the band thought they are moving in right direction and started experiment on their sound even more, which lead us to their most recent album Amo (2019) and became their first UK chart topper. On same year they dropped single Ludens for video game Death Stranding, which was recorded in 5 days while they touring Europe and at the end of the year dropped EP which contains tracks and demos that did not make it to Amo. Now they are working on their eight album from home and will drop new single in next couple of weeks. So you need to catch up their music before new album. Liked your reaction, keep it up! PS: U listened to song from Suicide Season, now u know the timeline :) sry for broken englado

You missed out their 1st EP, 2003 I think. This is what the edge of your seat was made for. Only 4 tracks, but heaviest of anything they've made. People hated them, they would tour with slipnot and other bands and would get bottles and all sorts of shit thrown at them, especially when slipnot dropped out for whatever reason. So crowd went nuts and took it out on them, this is pretty much what life was like for this band for a few years. Imagine. They've got balls of steal to keep trying over and over. Thank God they never quit. Then there was that really experimental album, with the longest title I've ever heard of. It starts with. Songs to.... Didn't care for that much. Not really given it that much of a listen. But it's so weird and mainly edm musical stuff. Be ok if you smoke weed I guess.😅😅

This is a band that pretty consistently has changed their sound and it mostly still works, they're like weird experimental pop now and again it's cool but not at all the same. I recommend anything from I Used To Make Out With Medusa to like Antivist, after the Sempiternal album things go in a pretty different direction.

Thanks for doing my reaction dude. You'll like their newer stuff more for sure, but I think this is their best album by far I like all the metalcore with the singing a lot, but this is just their highest quality work to me

So they have changed a bunch. Heavier than this, then this, then more melodic...the best pocket in my opinion, then full pop. Favorite song by them is probably Hospital for souls, and a later one, Happy song is also good. Sempiternal probably the best pocket I think for them..(album). It has it's moments.
