One of the rare songs that I think is just, almost undeniably, better than the original. And yeah, it's tough to do my guy Kurt like that but there's a lot of little things. Will is good but Jon is just a much stronger screamer, and I think Will would probably agree with that. Tilian is able to sing this one more than the others, it just sounds the most natural with his voice. And it also starts with distorted guitar, I think that opening riff just sounds better that way. So while I love the original, this is my preferred version.

I like this version the best. The only thing missing is that fancy guitar riff in the original that would go in at 1:57.

I tried SOOO hard to get into the TCS, but I just couldn’t. I also think the fandom’s worship of Tilian has really given me bad vibes. Luckily I still have the originals. I definitely will never get tired of the instrumentation either.

I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with the idea of live albums under a different vocalist. I love the originals too, however TCS displays the growth of Jon Mess over the years. I love hearing Jon’s new sound over Times New Roman and Alex English on this album. The man is truly a master at his craft now and it’s astounding hearing the difference.
