Chris is an underrated drummer his work in self titled and regional at best is phenomenal

Did you listen to the interview? I really like Chris. Sounds like a good dude and I really respect the choices he made. But for the most part, it was Tyler who created all the beats, and the drums weren't live because they couldn't afford the necessary equipment. Chris also had nothing to do with regional at best if I remember correctly, that was also all Tyler.

@@juanncarrizo9508 I think you deleted another comment? I tried replying but it wouldn't let me, and when I refreshed the page it was gone? And a new on took its place. But here is my reply to both: Music-wise, he provided the equipment and learned the songs Tyler made. Because of where they were financially, he literally could not play live as drums are quite hard to capture good sound on and they could not afford the equipment. And yes, he played the drums at regional at best(I think?), but Tyler created the whole melody, including the drum beats(from what I understood listening to these interviews). But I don't think I ever implied he was not part of the band? He 100% was. He provided equipment, he learned the songs to play, and he was 100% in the band until he simply could no longer. Never half-assed it even if things were not going great. He had to make a respectable choice for his life, but still made sure Tyler would have a drummer. Even now he is still behind the scenes supporting Twenty One Pilots.

@@Jo_dad He was the drummer for both albums when they performed (although he could not actually play live because of the lack of equipment/finances)

Wow, super interesting. There was so much in there that I didn't know yet. Much respect for Chris! Best of all, they are still friends. 🤗

The way you put everything together in this video made it 100x better. Seeing things visually for me helps a lot, and it definitely helped here + I also learned things I never knew, even though I’ve been a fan since early 2016

It's an interesting story but I kinda wish Tyler would have changed the band name. Josh is just as important to their success. I don't see them making it without him. It really isnt the same band.
