I'm British, so have zero connection with the American National Anthem - this literally brought me to tears and I cant even begin to imagine how proud a feeling it would of been to be there to witness the most powerful and meaningful rendition of your country's national anthem being sung as it should. Its just raw and full of emotion and sang in a way that its all about the Anthem not the singer trying to show off every run or vocal trick they have possible. Chris Stapleton is in my mind the greatest vocalist to have ever graced this planet!

Played American 🏈 and went to high school with Chris. It's so surreal seeing him on the biggest stage. We are from a very small mountain town. I wasn't close to him, but I remember hearing him play music in school at a friend's house. Her brother was one of his bandmates at the time. Just when you think you have heard all the greatness Chris Stapleton has to offer and has offered, he pulls another ace out of his hat. I really don't know how CS could perform our national anthem any better. It was ear orgasms from the moment he opened his mouth to the moment he sang the last verse. The cadance was perfect, the guitar was perfect, the vocals were perfect!!! How does this man continue to wow his fan base like this????
