I'm British, so have zero connection with the American National Anthem - this literally brought me to tears and I cant even begin to imagine how proud a feeling it would of been to be there to witness the most powerful and meaningful rendition of your country's national anthem being sung as it should. Its just raw and full of emotion and sang in a way that its all about the Anthem not the singer trying to show off every run or vocal trick they have possible. Chris Stapleton is in my mind the greatest vocalist to have ever graced this planet!

Played American 🏈 and went to high school with Chris. It's so surreal seeing him on the biggest stage. We are from a very small mountain town. I wasn't close to him, but I remember hearing him play music in school at a friend's house. Her brother was one of his bandmates at the time. We always thought he was good but could never have dreamed of this success.

Just when you think you have heard all the greatness Chris Stapleton has to offer and has offered, he pulls another ace out of his hat. I really don't know how CS could perform our national anthem any better. It was ear orgasms from the moment he opened his mouth to the moment he sang the last verse. The cadance was perfect, the guitar was perfect, the vocals were perfect!!! How does this man continue to wow his fan base like this???? It is very difficult to not get emotional watching this rendition of our national anthem. Great reaction, TY. So glad I got to see this artist live in Virginia Beach last year.

Such a heartfelt and mesmerizing performance. His CMA performance of "Cold" is probably my favorite. What's not to love about his music. I did see an interview before he sang, and he was a bit nervous about doing it. He didn't have anything to worry about.... spectacular!

He took over the top rendition of this song to me from Whitney at the Super Bowl. He just made my hair stand on end again even after hearing it for the 4th time. My son, who died at 24, told me Cris was one of his favorites, so it carries some extra weight for me. Great job!
