This was only the 2nd time I've checked out your site. B4 I say anything else let me be very, very clear, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU SIMPLY BC YOU DIDN'T ALLOW A SUBSCRIBER SHAME YOU INTO DENYING A TRUE TALENT BY THE NAME OF CHRIS STAPLETON!! I ALSO APPRECIATE YOU DENOUNCING IT ON YOUR SITE TODAY. AND I BELIEVE LIKE YOU THAT MUSIC HAS NO COLOR. I'm a 66 yr old white female who, like you, simply enjoy singers who are truly talented. I have enjoyed singers from Smokey Robinson, Bone, Nirvana, The Platters, Whitney Houston, Blake Shelton, Blue Oyster Cult etc.. If a person puts themselves in a box with only what they believe is "Their music" then I feel really very sad for them bc they haven't opened their heart or ears which is where the musc first touches you. PLEASE, PLEASE REMAIN TRUE TO YOURSELF & NEVER LET A PERSON TAKE YOUR SOUL & YOUR LOVE FOR ALL FORMS OF MUSIC. WILL BE BACK TO HEAR & FEEL THE NEXT ARTIST YOU REACT TO. STAY STRONG IN THE FAITH & ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT WE ARE ALL THE FATHERS CHILDREN.

Truth, Akita Girl! Music is universal. 63 years walking this planet. I've sat in a flat in Oslo playing music with people I'd never met until that evening from the US, Norway, Poland, and Morocco. Someone would start playing and the others would chime in with their own voice, their own culture, their own background, and most importantly, their own heart, which made it beautiful. No language barrier. Just music. What Chris Stapleton does is incredibly difficult and daring. He crawls inside a song and finds its essence. Then he takes massive risks by exposing his heart and how the music speaks to him. Scary stuff for a performer but it makes the music real and visceral. And we respond to that heartfelt emotion. I talk about connecting with my audiences at the speed of music. No interpretation needed. From one heart to one heart. Chris Stapleton achieves that every time without fail. And to see the love between him and Morgane on stage and to hear the passion between the two when they sing is a thing of true beauty.

I MUST respond! As a 66 year old white woman I find joy in checking out reactions from younger people to the music of my youth like 70s rock, like Motown, like British Invasion and more. It was a time of great singers and fantastic musicians before the age of electronic, let’s say, assistance. It brings me joy to watch people hear it for the 1st time and hear their reaction. I don’t give a crap where they are from, their race, their gender. It expands our horizons! Enjoy!!!!

If someone can only appreciate talent based on a person's skin color, I feel damn sorry for them. They are missing out on so many beautiful and gifted singers. You keep doing reactions, of ALL the singers. One if the reasons I was drawn to your channel was that you love good singers. If they can sing, that should be all that matters.

I commented on your Tennessee Whiskey video that he had runs for days in this song lol. He’s definitely not straight country. I absolutely love how he infuses soul, blues and gospel into his music. He has songs that are more country oriented. His background is largely bluegrass, which is heavily influenced by blues. Check out his old band the Steeldrivers. He’s written for a who’s who is the music industry, and has built his craft through hard work and dedication. He’s from Lexington, Kentucky, was valedictorian and lettered in six sports. He did Joe Rogan’s podcast and he’s just such a humble guy. Keep the reactions coming!

He started writing songs for other artists and finally his wife talked him into singing his own songs and what do you know after 10 years or so in Nashville he’s an overnight success. He also sang with The Jompson Brothers and the Steel Drivers. One is rock the other is bluegrass. You should look up Barely Alive the live acoustic version. There's been hundreds of reaction videos to dozens of genres of music over the years and most have been entertaining. What has been missed...is going back in time to our great great grandfathers of music. Please...know....that all of today's music came from the blues. It came before Robert Johnson sitting in a chair and strumming on his old guitar...singing about his pain. It came from rows of slaves...singing in their native tongues...with a cadence and pitch...inspiring their predecessors to persevere. You can't know where to go...unless you know where you came from.

I can't sing for beans, that is why I play guitar and bass...lol Keep doing your reactions your way. Don't let nerds with strong google fu get you down. Sometimes some facts like original singers eludes us especially if the original is done by an artists no one remembers or has heard of. I have made the same mistake on occasion and have been corrected gently and harshly. When you put stuff out there in the public realm you open yourself up to all kinds of comments. Some good, some helpful, some bad and just some trolls. What I would take away from that comment is the information about the original artist and if correct, appreciate the correction, but would ignore the tone of the rest of it. Some people were just born miserable. Keep up the great positive attitude and I look forward to more reactions.

Chris Stapleton is a soul singer...period. Yeah...you could bring a valid argument to him being a blues singer. Remember...singing the blues might be from emotion, but singing from the soul...is bringing it from your core. Country is just a genre. It has it's roots...and is respected because it can't be changed. It's heels are dug in.

He was in a rock band (the Jompson brothers) was in a bluegrass group (the steeldrivers) sang country in little taverns with a audience of only rowdy drunks...his amazing vocals would take the rowdy right out of them, he wasn't making enough money to get by and was gonna have to move back to KY, finding out artist would pay him for his songs afforded him to stay in Nashville eventually big artists was singing his songs and some ended up being hits, his wife told him he should be singing his own songs, they didn't need a big time artist to sing them to make them a hit song...thanks to her he got back on stage...with her as his backup singer(she is amazingly talented also) he finally got the recognition he so truly deserved

Chris is a genre unto his own. He will be the first to admit that he listens to EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. By the way, in every reaction, when you do your little adlibs, you sound amazing!
