Chris is actually a very quiet, kind and humble man. You won't see flashy clothes, jewelry or language. He's pure and real and he sings from his soul. That's why we feel it deep inside out own soul. We feel his pain.

I think that is what's fresh and new, esp with him, you can't put your finger on one his sound.. Love that blusy, gospel, southern rock,country.. For awhile ,I talked about him so much and about what a good artist he was, that my husband asked me did I have a crush on him.. . Just ❤ his voice, what it brings, and how it moves me!! Don't know that I would consider it gospel, probably country, but Chris wrote a song called Daddy doesn't pray anymore that you might want to check out. He wrote it in like 10-15 minutes. His talent is crazy for sure. He is so eclectic in his genres and what he writes about, it's unreal!! Sticks that made thunder is about the Civil war from a tree's perspective and Peacemaker is kinda from a guns perspective. Can you run is about fleeing from persecution/slavery/war. Ghost of Mississippi is about being possessed by a spirit. (Did these when he was lead singer in a band called Steeldrivers) He's a true storyteller. :)

Also if you haven't heard it then just wait and have your first time hearing it be on camera.

The fact that each course gets more intense And the fact that each part of the chorus gets more intense. You mix that with the lyrics. And you mix that with the feeling of the song and you can't help but be different after you hear this song

I haven’t ever seen one or your reactions or other videos. I can tell you that I agree and loved one of the posts earlier that said you have had one of the best and top reactions I’ve ever seen to Chris Stapleton. He is an amazing artist and while he is classified as “country” he has written so many songs that were hits for top artists across many genres. I’m so happy that we are blessed with his with Morgane convincing him to write and produce records for himself. She also is an amazing artist and singer in her own write, and performed with him and Justin Timberlake, the trio is lovely. On a music/stylistic level, I think that Chris Stapleton is much more than “country”, especially more than Nashville country. Just like any other music genre, everyone has opinions and subdivisions of what “box” or genre to put someone in. I actually consider Chris Stapleton to be much more of one of the few remaining modern day bluesmen that exist now. Joe Bonamassa, Duke Robillard, Gary Clark Jr., Kenny Wayne Shepherd, oddly enough John Mayer, and many folks that most people won’t mention or know, are keeping the blues tradition. I am happy to recommend some different songs that may sort of fit in this genre, but I believe that Chris Stapleton will eventually be viewed as one of the best “blues” or “soul/R&B” artists that ever lived during this era. Please keep evaluating his music, and do a reaction to the live version at Austin City Limits of “I was wrong”, the live version of Joe Bonamassa performing the song he wrong “If Heartaches were nickels” and a live version of the country song that is a tribute to the original writer, Gary Stewart (I will help with the back story, but he lived the song and did take his own life) “Empty Glass” by Stoney Larue. I really believe that you can do these songs justice because I can tell how empathic you are, and you listen to not only music, but feel the lyrics. I subscribed with my belief in you, and look forward to more videos. Please feel free to message me or reach out.
