Chris killed this song. Was always a huge Southern Rock fan , and it endears Chris to me more, when he performs music by the Allman Bros. or Lynyrd Skynyrd. Especially since Chris wasn't born until 1978, well after those two bands had peaked. And yet he sounds like he would have fit right in either group. Of course, others might not agree , but I actually prefer when Chris performs songs that would be classified as "rock".

It's a great job...frankly I prefer Stapleton to Gregg Allman on vocals on this song. Takes nothing away from Allman's vocals, simply a matter of what evokes the "pull to the song" for me. Personal interpretation and as a song "stylist" (if that's appropriate here), I always am engaged with Stapleton's voice. ✌
