There's conflict with this. Jackie Chan is from Hong Kong (which is not China).but Hong Kongers hate Jackie Chan like they did Bruce Lee. Word has it that Jackie live in a "secret home" in Hong Kong, but also lives in main land China. So I don't know if Chris actually went to China, or he's calling HK China. I've spent time in both countries. HK is an amazing place, I'll never go back to China. And if HK officially takes over HK, I'll never go back unfortunately

I have friends that of course went to different schools that offered more language classes but never Mandarin. German, Russian, and Cajun French. That French class was offered at very few schools. Most of them on the other side of Louisiana from me. My ex's school didn't switch to English until he was 12. He, his parents, and grandparents all spoke both. With his parents pretty much half and half with grandparents 95% French. I only learned swear words. LOL
