We're so use to watching Hollywood movies now with so much technology with little to no possible harm. Jackie Chan and his team literally put their lives on the line. That's dedication right there

@@donmcdouglas5017 Well I mean I love technology, it's brought about new and exciting movies. So nothing wrong with that.
@donmcdouglas50172 жыл бұрын
@@thewolf5444 technology like the star wars 1977 and empire strikes back yes,but compared that to too much technology like star wars 2001 and clone wars were actors needs to act in a 100% green screen environment, you can clearly see that actors behavior are way different from the old ones
@thewolf54442 жыл бұрын
@@donmcdouglas5017 Yeah it's a different type of movie. I like old movies but I equally love new ones. Lord of the rings, marvel movies. They're unbelievable! Personally Jackie Chan risking their lives, was too much. He's probably broken every single bone in his body. That shouldn't happen now. We can't allow that type of stuff to happen these days
@donmcdouglas50172 жыл бұрын
@@thewolf5444 I dont think its up to movie fans to decide how an actor should perform, its their decicion and theirs alone, every actor has diffrent takes and risk tolerance depending on how far they want to achieve, imo, if not movie industry would be dull and uninspirational

It's hard to put into words what Jackie and his crew mean to me. I grew up on Jackie. My dad absolutely loved his movies, and that love got passed down onto us. Every Sunday we'd rent a new Jackie movie and watch together. Then Jackie Chan Adventures throughout my youth. Binging all of his movies I hadn't seen later as a young adult. Jackie was a role model, an example, a teacher, a creative, and a work-horse. There will never be another like him. I haven't watched in awhile but looking back now, I'm not sure there's another "celebrity" who's had such a big impact on my life. You're a legend Jackie, thank you so much
