5:54 my only suggestion would be to jump forward in most situations. Especially in the corner, it's a free escape and puts Kim in a rough spot.

With some characters even if you backrises, the LV2 can be easily punished. But Rashid players are already working on the best options after the new OD Mixer, raw LV2 is completely out of the question.

You can time a delayed jab to beat run~stop pressure while blocking Arc Step as well. Kim can hold forward to extend the run and delay Arc Step to beat this, but that's a risky read on her part

Good stuff. 5:38 The Kim changes are pretty bonkers. Ken just got nerfs to his run into whatever unga bunga, but Kim gets a buff for it in the same patch. Difficulty of pulling off the "fuzzy jump" is not commensurate with the reward (which is nothing on a correct back jump and LOL Get Wrekt on a bad one)

Amazing video Chris! I can't believe Honda can super the drive reversal like that 😮 Why does akuma demon raid have different frame advantage depending on back recovery? Is it the distance he travels or something like that The recovery should be the same amount of frames in place or with back roll so it's kinda confusing lol

@Chris_F fair enough man thank you, I just got a gqming recap thing from yt that showed what videos I've watched this year and your channel was number 1 👍 also after your last vid I worked on my hit confirms from lights but I found my own take, basically as Kim I do crlp crlk stlp/ or crlp and I confirm from the crlk instead, since a lot of players block the crlp and then try to walk back, since Kim's low threat isn't too good. It's been working pretty well and with the buffs I think I can do better, since I went through a phase of just constantly losing, now I need to redeem myself 🤣 cheers for all your help mate, hopefully I can catch your Live stream again sometime

No because you have to let go of block for a neutral jump, which means you’re more likely to get hit by the dive kick option

Hey chris love the content. Against the kim run isnt it better to neutral jump so you get a punish on the grab? I started practicing it and I seem to get a punish even if I jump on the last active frame.

No I don’t recommend neutral jump bc it’s very hard to fuzzy and still block the kick option on time

modern hondas would pull off a super2/3 against a drive reversal but you will find very few classic that do that

i dont think the mixup from kimberly is a big deal, u can backdash and then check for dr, and if u get hit by the kick so what its risky af and they dont get much off oki. Backdashing allows for cmd grab punishes and u can check for their DR the issue is kimberlys continue their pressure by using normals into run cancel and u have to press eventually to stop it
