Using the S16 atm. I hope they do a 24mm button version for the M plus series. I like that I can keep a fixed hand position with 24mm buttons with fingers hovering over all buttons without my palms ever needing to move but would rather rest palms on the hitbox itself than the height difference of desk while also having option of lap play

Playing bison today felt immediately better than akuma (who ive been playing a bit) hes got flow which as a deejay player i kinda need to actually try with a character and have fun, i was beating masters already, im so happy with him haha, great info here also man

Hey Chris. I have now been on leverless playing shotos for 8 months, starting in iron and now d5, almost there. Your videos always helpful. If you get some time, i have a few questions: Question 1 Can do you do the "true" / full SOCD DP with jump+punch from a crouching position, whether DB or DF? What I see in D5 / master players is delayed / crouching DPs to lower hurt box. I didn’t see these in plat like, ever. i want to be able to be moving in neutral, crouch to lower hurt box, and use the SOCD method. Is this possible ? I seem to stand up no matter what Question 2 - I use the crosscut method you describe, half circle ending in Df or db. works well. I’ve noticed lately it I just wait a extra frame or 3 and let them go over my head, I can just use the SOCD DP in the correct direction. Do you use SOCD dp for crosscut at all? Is this even a thing? I still find DP to be absurd. I feel like crosscuts are such hard high barrier to getting better. If you can’t do them you’re screwed Thanks for the help!

I've actually just climbed up to plat 1 by learning a basic BnB combo and learning to AA. Discovered this video series and there are definitely holes I can patch up. Great and easy to understand. Looking forward to practicing. Thanks!

Is the m16 plus the same size as the t16?

absolutely game-changing setup for KBD and electrics. mapping left and right on 8 and 12 works pretty great but I'm curious what buttons you use for left and right (from the haute 16 button layout)? i have a regular m16. thanks a lot for ur guides, really underrated!

Wow i didn't even know punishment training was an option. Ive always just done it old school way in a match by starting with a i10 and work your way up until it doesn't fit and stay with that. Cool

I have M+ with 12 buttons. Swapped the crystal switches out for phantom switches and love it. Phantoms just make it feel really smooth but crystals were still decent.

What binds do you use for the extra buttons

Makes an updated plus version but still no ps5 compatibility 🤷🏻‍♂️it’s a pass for me

i cannot seem to get the backdash drill to work. geif won't backdash fast enough on wakeup and i just end up meaty throwing him. i"m even doing recording after input and still having issues.

I have the r16. It's hard to do slide techniques on it. Is it possible to do it on m16?

Thanks for the review I always wanted to try a leverless controller and loved the look of the Kitsune but the price is ridiculous. I love the layout on this one and it has way more options.

Looks like an incredibly well-designed controller. I think I'd rather have 24 mm buttons for less travel time though, and to keep most of the buttons within super quick reach.

I wanted something like this as opposed to the T16 model because I feel like the black finish just looks so much better imo. Glad they put this out.

Really leaning towards this controller but, I'm not sure if I will like all the buttons being the same size.

Are slide movements controller possible?, bassically are u able to slide ur fingers across the buttons to make half circle movements for throws in t8 easier?

Absolutely love my M16 Plus, though I felt the opposite on one bit, I had the smaller version and upgraded to the Plus because I wanted a little more space for my palms. Highly recommend the Lofree Ghost switches if you can get a handful of them to try out, the only complaint I had with the original was the switch sensitivity and the Ghosts have a little more weight to them, so no more accidental inputs from resting my fingers on the buttons. You really can't beat these things for as cheap as they are, the quality is great, and it's a no brainer to recommend.

Yea Haute makes the best leverless controllers on the market right now and its not even close

Just picked it up! All those little buttons on the top sold it for me, I've always been frustrated with limited extra buttons on my f500 stick

This has been my go to leverless, I might even like it more than my Kitsune, the all metal build feels awesome and much less of a fingerprint magnet. I think the buttons are real nice, the glossy sides together with the LED lighting make it look slick, it's funny that the Kitsune doesn't have RGB on the buttons. You can also use the Booter 5 that Haute/Cosmox sell, it's really low profile.

Can you turn off the led in the top left?

Haven't tried the crystal switch. Comparing to the red v2, I love the wind engines switch. I can feel the different when pressing the button with my pinky finger.

The crystal switches were changed to allow the rgb lighting to shine through as stated by Haute/CosmoX. They are the same as the reds...

I I just started using lever less controllers and I started off with two of the Haute controllers. I finally figured out how to update them from your videos and others. I personally like my Haute controller that has all 24mm buttons and only one 30mm (the main jump button).

I wish I didn't buy a Kitsune and got this instead
