I have the curtain lights on my garage as well but living in Kansas where 40mph winds are the norm it's hard to keep them untangled. I really wish Govee would improve the linked mode for the curtain lights as they really pushed that feature as a selling point. Issue is they didn't make linked mode to act as a single unit where you could upload a gif and it play without issue, your stuck using their prebuilt scenes.

@KimmoJaskari Жыл бұрын
These do come in black, unlike the previous gen. Probably easier to make them "disappear" on many houses than white. The splicing kit is fine and all but I'd probably still use some Posilocks and shrinkwrap. Almost toolless, and much less gigantic blobs than this, but for people not comfy with working with wires I can see the splicing kit being nice.

Looking great Chris! I live in an apartment so I can't get as elaborate as you, but I do have 2 sets of curtains on my balcony that look great and one set of curtains inside that I constantly play with. One thing I would love to see is more in depth on creating your own animations for the curtains, specially with 2 or more joined. Keep the videos coming Chris, always look forward to seeing what you have coming up next.

That being said, can i still do the shows and customize my own on the regular cheaper version or do I have to purchase the pro? I heard tk touch base a little on that when you compared the amount of lights there is with both versions. But the curious if the app features and custom adjustments are the same with both?

Thanks for watching! Save yourself the money and get last year's model if your main goal is for the lighting aspect. Both kits will perform the same in this area! Thanks for watching and great question! Yup 3 plugs. Once everything is plugged in and connected to the app, make sure the software is up to date and then go into one of the curtains and under settings there should be the option called device splicing that will connect them all together via software! Hope that helps!
