@@KSN2019 I am totally in the same boat. The new ibo of this bow is 348. My Triax, 5 years old, is 343.... I don't think the speed would be a reason to upgrade. There are a few nice upgrades but not worth it for me at this point.

I watched people shooting the LIFT at an archery shop. There was a guy shooting a Phase 4 near them. The Phase 4 sure sounded more quiet than the LIFT did. The LIFT they were shooting was all decked out with a stabilizer, etc. ( I think it was the factory demo setup sent to the dealer, fully equipped). The Phase 4 was equipped similar and it was easily more quiet. Also, the guy shooting the LIFT said the draw cycle was very heavy at the front end of the cycle. Very interesting! I have not shot one, just sharing what I have seen so far. My dealer said all of the LIFTs so far have come in really heavy in terms of draw weight. With a 70# mod they are drawing close to 75 lbs, etc. Another interesting point.

I'm coming from traditional archery and if there's anything I learned about buying a quality bow, just do it right off the bat. This will be my first compound bow and I'm going with the lift 33. If I was to take all the money I spent on two and three hundred dollar bows, I'd be able to buy a high dollar custom bow but instead, I have a wall full of cheap garbage. LOL. Awesome content Chris. Keep it up 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥

Gonna be real surprised if you can stick to a 350 spine. 300 spine is technically weak for 75lbs and almost 350 IBO much less 80 lbs. I'd like to hear some follow up on the arrow setup.

I’ve wondered about your Sharpie mark for your nock set in your previous videos, too. If you’re putting the mark on the line at the bottom of the T square, and the bottom of the square is just touching the bottom of the rest where the bottom of the arrow is going to be on the rest, shouldn’t the sharpie mark be the bottom of the nock?

Good video Chris! I'm glad to see Mathews going big on their new bows "personally I have not really see any what I would call big change since the Halon". And as Bow Technician I really appreciate the set up...especially the oops I went the wrong way. Question, do these still have the Top hat system to "shim" for left and right tuning? As far as watching and listening to the sound of it, it does sound a little "poppier" as you said, but I be it is not really any louder. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming hunts!

Dont back down! I had a 6.5 PRC. Shot deer with it and the creedmore. Absolutely NO difference other than more wasted meat with the PRC. And wasting another 20 grains of powder for basically the same performance!! The secret is just get a 24 inch Creed!!! It'll do everything the PRC will with less recoil, WAY less powder, way less muzzle blast, and fit more rounds in the mag..... No brainer

Just start tying a couple loops of your soft nock with the arrow on the bow with a level on it. Start with top one so it holds the arrow down. Easiest way to get it exact. Once it's level pull arrow and finish tying.

I currently have a Phase 4 and plan to shoot it for a long time. I was wondering, would it be beneficial to get a match bowstring put on it?
@dwanger2007 Жыл бұрын
Why is everyone saying these bows shoot way slower than advertised? When they test them they are bare strings with no monkey tails which I believe weigh around 30 grains as a set. So if you are shooting a d loop,a peep, and monkey tails they shoot in the 330s which is right around its IBO rating. So I don’t know why people are claiming it’s way slower
