I like the fade down process better because if i start with it closed to start going up, i raise my fade a little higher sometimes or make it where the next guideline is hard to blend out

My fades always turn out like the 11:00. I don’t really care for the transition. I use #1 open all the way as my highest guard (my lowest is no guard half open). Would you clean it up with the #1 all the way closed, or drop down to the #0 open on Fastfeeds? It’s obvious I’m not a barber.
