Use a pressure cooker instead. Same thing, good amount of low sodium chicken broth, season the chicken (I like Elk Creek Grillin Garlic Jalapeno), 15 minutes. Super tender, shreds like nothing with fork and serrated knife.

Chris here in puerto rico when I do a prep to lose weight eating shred chicken or fish that way is boring..try "dry " fried rice, put on low heat a pan and fry everything, the rice gets crispy and the chicken, no oil needed, the crunch is what get you out your head thinking is the healthy 👌 😅
